We know at least(and likely several more) guys who made the 53 won’t be on it in a few days. Once they sign a punter they’ll cut someone.

Howie...releasing guys that have contributed in previous seasons is difficult but a sign of an improving roster.

Wallace was also in last year of his contract so no compelling reason to give him another shot

Reports were Evans was getting maybe most of the 1st team reps by the end of camp. Wouldn’t be shocked if he starts next to Blankenship.

I think they use PS elevation for the first couple weeks.

May just put one on the PS and elevate for a few weeks.  Likely the same with Covey, should he be back.

Think Barnett and Street are still on the block, with Williams and Ojoma, they're a bit redundant.

Other thing, you can protect 3 PS spots from being culled, so it's really a 56 man roster after tomorrow.

Evans has had upside when he was drafted in 2017. issue has usually been staying healthy and recovering from injury. I think they believe brown isn’t ready to play significant amount of snaps/starting role which isn’t a shock for rookie safety picked in the 3rd. Still think trade deadline if the safety position is leaking oil they’d make a trade
