What does that have to do with getting the number on the back wrong?

I think he’d be a great addition to the PS.

Agreed

Here are the UDFAs who made rosters.  Minnesota got two that I wanted for the Eagles

Can't see much action on waivers today seeing as the Eagles are slotted 31st. Clearly a move at punter will be made and my guess is Calcaterra is the first to go. I also think a team claims Covey and the Eagles will be scrambling for a PR.

Yeah I feel like Carter/Pace were the Best UDFA’s overall. 40k for Ricks is insane Value.

Hands down. I also think they both had a better shot here but clearly, the players in front of then didn't matter and their talent did the talking.

Our lads is so funny. Everyone else abbreviates cornerback as CB.  They abbreviate it as DC (Defensive Coordinator).

That's a lot of words to say a whole bunch of nothing.

If they trade Ricks for a punter...

Word salad is the goal for these guys in most PCs.   Fill the time, divulge nothing.

Reminds me of an old MASH episode... General standing in front of the press, declares:
"This is a press conference and the last thing I want to do is answer a bunch of questions!"

Is this guy legit?  I've never heard of him.

Because of where they are slotted, it doesn't make much sense to even make a roster claim for a punter.  The Chiefs have their punter.

Better off just waiting for waivers to clear and sign the dude to the PS. Then elevate for a few weeks to see if they are any good and, if so, give time for an injury to another player that would clear roster space.  The punter they approach would be happy to come here, knowing that they would be #1 on the depth chart, despite being on the PS.

You've really got to wonder what goes through these kids heads. Gilbert had a chance to be an elite college TE.

That makes sense.

Do we have an obvious Nasty Nate winner this year?

After a HOF caliber Nasty Nate'r in Carson Strong, I guess we were bound for a down year.

My vote goes to Ngata

Started with a lot of hype then when the games started he was very meh ...

Vikings waived Reagor.

He is mentally ill. Seriously.

The Steelers punter rumor is obvious since they kept 2 and the Eagles need 1. But the CB part is just that guy's guess. Doubt the Eagles do that unless they intended to waive Goodrich which I doubt.

Defensive Corner I believe DC is.

That's the issue with the new training camp set up.  We only get fed what the media wants to share, so the fans don't actually get to hype their own guy.  Just echo the media heads.   Which, again, is why the lack of anything meaningful in preseason is that much more frustrating for the fans.   Once upon a time, we'd get to see the players practice, and watch as the position battles would unfold.  Then get to see the battles play out on the field for preseason games as well.   Now... we don't get to see the practices and the battles, we get to hope that the media is giving us reliable information, and then we wait it out until the regular season comes along to see what these guys really are.

For example, some (maybe only 1) was fooled by Tyree Jackson's PS performance to believe he was going to make the team.  Calcaterra, on the other hand, wasn't even in the PS finale.  Yet, when it all shook out, Calcaterra was clearly ahead of Jackson.  And with the recent trade, it seems like they are ready to move on from that experiment.  We'll see if he catches on anywhere else now, but it seems hard to believe that he'll be back here.  It's possible, of course... but 5 TEs seems a little heavy, even if one of them is on the PS.    He could be the depth guy for Albert O, but I think they might be better suited looking at other positions for depth on the PS, like the LB and WR positions where they are paper thin on the roster.

Yes, but that's a stupid term.  Is there an offensive corner?  They are on an island with that abbreviation.  And I don't even think it has an historical context.
