Well that's confusing phrasing. Is he suggesting he'll be on the Practice Squad?

Sounds like it, and that he'll be activated from the PS to return punts.   😬

Very confusing. I doubt anyone will snipe him from our PS so he will just get elevated from the Practice Squad each game most likely, and then will return to the Practice Squad, where he will spend the week on the Practice Squad, until they elevate him again from the Practice Squad, before returning back to the Practice Squad.

Clark'ed your post

All punters have a few shanks. Siposs does it often and at the worse time. At least, he had 1 really good year and can punt from his own 10 yard line without giving it away. You have a prayer with him. Siposs is like an easy out in baseball. 😉

bust

I cannot believe anyone would think this is a possibility

Only a troll like me would push it as a good idea.

I've been assuming all along that the deadline for waiver claims is noon. (Or is it one o'clock?) How could there be announcements already concerning the Bears, who don't even hold the first spot in the claiming order? What am I missing here?

Waddle straight up is hilarious. & more is absurd.

How many shanks did he have last season?  Do you actually know, or are you shooting from the hip?

For the first three weeks at least.

We won't have 4 TEs on the roster very long I think.

I'll let the nerds in here research that. In a nutshell, the last 2 playoffs tell the story very well.

My vote goes to Ngata

Started with a lot of hype then when the games started he was very meh ...

If someone’s gotta win it, that’s probably the one.  Sermon is a pretty strong candidate.

Just to be clear. You're okay with a punter shanking a few as long as it's not Siposs. That certainly makes a lot of sense.

You didn't know about the punter ceiling??

I went out to the internet and found the following … it was ironic given your posts of late.

Although Jo Jo Dancer has achieved success as a stand-up comedian, he hasn't found happiness.

All 3 are good practice players, Allen is going to make more on the PS then he ever will in track.

Ward is a guy who can come in and fill some snaps if someone gets hurt

And I imagine covey will be activated on game day as PR.

Good research, as per the norm. 😉

Seems Allen has a few more hurdles to clear before making the roster.

I'd pull the plug on Allen personally. Feels like we just are doing him a favor instead of trying to improve the roster.

We'll see if the Eagles pounce.

Gotta keep those headlines coming for the Eagles in the offseason.  ;).  Can't let the other teams dominate a news cycle.

He'll be our punter
