It was a great game by Desai.

I think there is a general sense of relief knowing we beat a top team and played at a very high level, on both sides of that ball.  Still have some things to fix/get better at but tonight’s win was a breath of fresh air.

Not sure I agree.  The plan is for Brown and Blankenship. Fangio defense Ss play like Carroll/Bradley Ss, downhill.  While I would like to upgrade from Edmunds, not sure they need to break the bank.  My suspicion is Garner might well fit into a third S role. 

At 6-1, we're legitimate Super Bowl contenders. Go trade for a safety, Howie.

In case you forgot, we shut down their offense with Edmunds, Brown, Scott (who arrived this week), and Ricks on on the field.

Kinda feels like the Phillies cant lose tomorrow. They got that win yesterday, and hopefully they ride some momentum from this as well. 

The city was prepared for a bad few days in sports. And its feeling like the complete opposite right now.

Having to focus only on him, and not him AND Waddle for most of the game sure did help though.

One thing that really impresses about Nick and Johnson.

Teams came into the season looking to take away the quick strike.

So it took a few games, but now they're the best ball control team in the NFL (shades of Andy Reid).

Even the Red Zone game was better tonight.

Those long drives tear the heart out of opposing defenses.

Eagles are 6-0 when Jalen Carter plays.

yep. Dont need a starter, and we already have backups. The constant calls for a safety trade week after week continue to befuddle me.

Maybe a star LB. Give this D something it doesnt have. Maybe a stud DE who can improve those putrid Barnett snaps.

Or maybe bring our run game back to dominance. 

Safety? Makes 0 sense. 

Nolan Smith showing up is a good thing. If he can continue to have his role increased week by week that can only help. 

One of the most impressive defensive performances in recent memory. To shut THAT offense down the way they did with a depleted secondary was masterful. Desai deserves the game ball.

The way the DL is playing, Howell should expect to keep his league leading 4 sacks+ alive next week.
