Also Dallas Goedert is 325 receiving yards shy of surpassing Jason Avant for #15 on the Eagles all time receiving yards list. He needs 1,451 more yards to surpass Jeremy Maclin for the #10 spot. Clearly that’s not happening this season, but he likely does that before his career in Philly is complete

Posted this in the AJ Brown thread but might as well do it here too

After todays game, AJ Brown has passed Shady & Alshon on the Eagles all time receiving yards list. He’s at 2,305 yards in his career as an Eagle, placing him at #38 on the all time list. He needs 211 more yards to surpass Riley Cooper, Wilbert Montgomery, Devonta Smith, and Nelson Agholor & will crack the top 30, so at his current pace should easily have that going into the bye. Realistically I think he has 1000 yards receiving going into the bye, he’s only 191 yards shy with two games left. Obviously with Devonta still playing it’ll be a little trickier surpassing him but it’ll happen at some point this year. Devonta is currently sitting at #32 with 2,495 yards and should easily crack the top 30 after next week, he only needs 21 more yards to surpass Nelson Agholor at #30.

He is on pace for 2,000 receiving yards. With 809 yards so far this season  with 10 games left, he needs 1,191 yards so needs to average 120 yards a game. Is it possible? Given his incredible performance so far I think he realistically can hit 2k.

It’s absolutely amazing to think thru 25 games he’ll like already be on the top 30 list all time in receiving yards for us.

He also has a legit shot at cracking the top 20 in receiving yards by season end. Dallas Goedert is currently sitting at #20 with 3,321 yards. Just like Devonta, this will likely be a little tricky passing Goedert, as Goedert has 1,000 yards on AJ and will likely keep that lead before the season is done. However, Goedert is only 26 yards shy of the 19th spot & 29 yards shy of the 18th spot. So it’s absolutely possible AJ Brown can finish this season at #20 or #19 on the all time list.

Oh and by the way he’s only 26 years old & signed here for two more seasons lol. He might actually crack the top 10 receiving yards all time after his 4th season in Philly.

Although you certainly can’t say yet that AJ Brown is the best WR1 the Eagles have ever had, I do think he’s become the most dominant/explosive WR1 the Eagles have ever had.  I think he’s surpassed T.O. this season.

Can’t believe the Falcons drafted a RB in the top 10 & didn’t even use him today

They said he had an illness but who knows

Johnson isn't using him enough.

@FranklinFldEBUpper what is going on with Elliott’s kickoffs?

Dunno. It was kinda windy. Maybe that was it.

Way more Dolphins fans than I would have expected. And louder too. One of them in my section got tossed in the fourth quarter and he really hadn't done anything to deserve it other than cheer loudly for his team. Security was way out of line with the way they handled him.

Also, that's not the shade of green that the Eagles used to wear. It just wasn't. I can't describe what was wrong about it but trust me that it was wrong.

Eagles get back to the Superbowl.

What trade takes them over the top?

I know it ain’t happening but I would really really like a Surtain trade

Piggybacking off my AJ Brown comment from a bit ago.

AJ Brown would have to reach 1,500 receiving yards every season, including this season, for 5 seasons to surpass Harold Carmichael at the #1 spot all time. He’s currently signed for 3 more seasons after this year, so that leaves one season he isn’t signed here required to reach that mark.

Not saying it’s happening, but given his pace so far, his youth, and his relationship with Jalen + Jalen being signed here long term. Makes you wonder

Hard to imagine letting him go with real tread left on the tires.

also a silver lining, seems like the jets loss woke this team up. Not the worst thing heading into this slate.

Yeah I know we’ve been on the mindset lately that we let AJ walk after his contract is up. AJ is a FA after the 2026 season, he’ll be 29 then, and 30 heading into the 2027 season. I could see the Eagles extending him with like a two year deal before his contract is up, putting him at 31 after the 2028 season and a FA. Then he’s likely done in Philly. It’s all so far ahead but it’s fun speculation over a dominant player who’s already on a historic pace with us.

Don’t you think that things like this are kind of what lead to kids doing crazy things?  What’s healthy about a child holding a sign that says we will all receive wrath and it will cometh for thee just because?

No… How many child crimes or crazy things have you seen done in the name of Christianity?

Did you enjoy the game in person as much as we enjoyed it via broadcast?  It must have been electric to be there.

I didn’t realize we rotated Garner in at safety for Brown. I’ll be curious to see how many snaps he ended up playing.

Looking forward to seeing the snap counts for the entire defense.

If they got a genuine top class safety it'd put the defense on another level, Edmunds is showing that he was carried by the rest of the Steeler's defense, the angle he took on the play where Bradberry got toasted was amateurish, if Edmunds is your safety help over the top, you have no safety help.

Blankenship and Brown have a future on this team, Edmunds doesn't.

Though I had the teams reversed, my score prediction was 1 point off.

Unfortunately, I got my bonus prediction spot on.

Edmunds plays every single snap every game. Honestly not sure how anyone can be happy about that in the organisation. Relying on him, a rookie and someone who always seems to be hurt is not a smart move.

He's so wrong so often.  How is he still employed?

Where can we get Kelly Green jerseys right now? Just looked on fanatics and NFL site in Europe and there are none again 😔.

Yeah. Cunningham and Mostert seemed to collide as Slay picked it off. To throw a flag there would have been egregiously bad. Mostert had no prayer of making play there.

No PI if the ball is deflected before getting to the receiver.   It was picked off well before reaching Mostert, so yeah... it was legal contact.

And McDaniel might be a good coach, but he has to be the most uninspiring guy to play for.  Very whiny too.  Your offense got handled it wasn't about one play.

The brace was on his left leg last night. That play against the Rams is his right so I'm not sure we can say the 2 are related.

His coach said he wasn’t feeling well. Don’t really know what that means or why you’d pull him from a game, but that’s why they’re the dirty birds.

He had a migraine. Tried to play through it but couldn't.

Limiting that offense to only 49 plays was huge.

Top two players on defense are two of their worst players in coverage. Having them play the most snaps against the high octane Miami offense isn't great but the Eagles survived.

Does Kentavious Street have any 7th round pick trade potential? Seems like a roster spot they can upgrade on.

Who did Boston Scott piss off? Honestly, he brings some bounce and juice.
