I want no part of the cheaters. They have the hitting, pitching, pen, and experience....along with no fear of the Bank taking 2 of 3 games there last year.

Phillies have lost 12 in a row to the rangers, rangers actually have a better offense then the Astros over the course of the season, rangers have just as good of SP as the Astros. The difference is Astros pen is better than rangers. But rangers have more starting pitching depth and they’d have homefield.

This is some stat. Desai really is such an upgrade.

Roob and his crap. Brown, Garner, Ringo were all starters last year and Ricks was a part time starter because four of his six players listed were in college plus Goodrich was on the PS last year.  All this stat shows is how banged up the secondary has been this season plus letting the two starters at S from last year walk.

Howie has to be contacting the league about the refs and the brotherly shove right? 2nd time they called offsides on the offense when it wasn't

I want the Asstros. They can even bring the garbage can with 'em. And I wanna see Alvarado plunk that midget Altuve right in his damn mug.

That was 1991. In 1993 Randall broke his leg against the Jets.

I had totally forgotten that season. Probably mostly because we had to deal with Bubby Brister and Ken O'Brien as starting QBs.  I am not sure, even with Cunningham, that roster does what the 91 team would have done.

Altuve the real life bobble head

They weren't as good, as Reggie was gone. But the team was 4-0 after winning that Jets game but lost Randall and Barnett.

I'm guessing he's talking about pro snaps? Who knows with this guy. He typically pulls irrelevant stats out of his butt and gives them meaning in hopes that people don't understand basic logic.

Clearly meant pro snaps. It's a good point about how solid Desai has been with young, inexperienced players.

Everyone in the NFL played a lot in college...except Mailata.

You don't worry about the experience more with the Astros? Lost 12 but not with this team. I'd take the team with the weaker pen, but that's just me. HF didn't seem to matter in that series.

Biggest misconception is that Wawa is gas station food.  Wawa didn’t put in gas pumps until the last 15-20 years.

Wawa started out as Dairy Farms which sold its dairy products in its stores, which also featured delicatessens.

Turkey Hill is a dairy, Rutter’s is a dairy, Royal Farms is a dairy.  Most convenience store chains around here started as dairy stores.  But the menus expanded about the same time they put in gas pumps.  Now many are "cafes” as well to support the beer/wine sales after Sheetz went after the gas pump exception.  I have drunk convenience store beer in my youth but haven’t drunk convenience store wine since Boone’s Farm on a fake ID.

I tend to think anything with all of that hype must be terrible.

Is that why you took your 2 for 1 Golden shower special ad down from Craiglist?  Or was that more of a legal thing?

His next post... on "Sunday night games where Jalen hurts is the starter, AJ Brown gets 100+ receiving yards, Slay gets an INT, the Eagles wear Kelly Green, and Jalen Carter does a Lebron James flop, the Eagles are 1-0"

That's insane. Harper and Schwarber are on another planet.

With all of the other great stories and players we kind of forget about this guy now and again.  What a story.  Pretty unbelievable when you stop and think about it.

Worry about the experience. I also think the Phillies have extra motivation against them though. I think experience of coming into CBP matters. However i also think the Astros are really bad at home this year. Frankly think the rangers have more overall talent on that team particularly their lineup. The Astros bullpen is good but they are still nowhere close to what they were last year. That was a historic bullpen the Phillies ran into. I think both are gonna be a challenge but the rangers have the ability to Consistently out slug you. That’s exactly what happened when we played in Arlington earlier this year.

Buc-ees is extremely overrated. Their "bbq” is some of the worst I’ve had.

You eat at Bucee’s?  I go there for the restrooms and occasionally gas. Great restrooms.  I did pick up some post oak for brisket smoking there but that is as close as I have come to trying their ice cream scoop BBQ.  My rule on BBQ joints is if there isn’t smoke coming from it and it doesn’t smell smokey inside, keep on going.

Titans fans taking it well

I’ve only had it once and I might as well had just guzzled down a bottle of BBQ sauce instead of paying for a pulled pork BBQ sandwich - would have tasted the same.

That said, their beef jerky was pretty good.

Pretty low jerky standards. Don’t much care for plastic bag jerky.  Same rule for it as BBQ. Got to smell smoke.  Best jerky is usually a smokehouse/meat processor.  A place where @greend would take his kills.

Truth be told, I'm still not convinced on Dean. I see him on the field at times but I hardly ever see him making any plays. For all the hype the guy had coming out of college, you'd kinda expect more.

I think he played well last night.  Miami TE and RB combined reception/yards: 1/6.  Defense rarely looked confused or out of place with all the pre-snap motion.  The defense looked composed and confident.  He gets some credit for that.  And it was only his 3rd game starting.

You must be skipping a hell of a lot of mediocre to bad BBQ places.

Every Buc-ees sandwich I have had has been at least good. I'm not expecting Pit Room BBQ quality.

Pretty standard for teams to contact the league after games on something like that.
