Wonder what the comp pick will be if he leaves and signs a decent deal elsewhere?

If we cut him after this year, then no comp pick. If he let him play out 2024 at $14.1mm, then we'd get a comp pick.

I'm guessing we cut or restructure.

Poor D'Andre probably going to the game alone tonight.

At this point just see what the Titans want for Henry, damn.

That's the move right there.

Smart of Howie to get good safety depth behind Sydney Brown.

I was trying to remember the other day who he was sitting next to

Had a feeling after last night they'd trade for a safety today or Tuesday. Howie didn't wait. Got maybe the best one on the trade market. Him or Simmons. People discussed him back during the offseason.

Negotiations probably started a week ago.  Waiting for this week dropped the titans to 2-4 and probably convinced them to be sellers.

If anyone wants to buy a Nike elite kelly green aj brown jersey size 52 let me know. I have one they sent me and they were supposed to send me a smith. So either i keep it, pay for it and try to sell it. Or just return it for my money back which will take about a week. So i figured ask on here before sending it back.

LOL - and he's coming off a bye this week. So he'll play 2 games and then another break.

Brown can also fill in for Roby in the slot until he comes back.

The NFL grew some balls

Does Byard make the most sense due to his low cap numbers?  $4 million this year and $9.6 next year.

Simmons is $14.4 this year and $14.5 next year

Budda is $13.1 and $14.2

Check out the big brain on Brad, here. Nailed that.

How well is Byard still playing these days.  Still good range in coverage? Make plays on the ball?

I cant say I watch Tennessee.

I know he's been a good player.  Is he still at the top of his game?

I know the cap implication here is a big win.  But giving up 2 draft picks for probably a half year rental, I want very high caliber play from him to call it a successful trade.

Someone give me some recent highlights so I can really get juiced?

It's not even the same GM anymore! Wash, rinse, repeat.

So this is the same 6th rounder they got from the Titans earlier this year?!? lol.

What’s the catch with Byard as far as his contract? he’s a 30 year old safety signed through 2026.

I feel I’m missing something. Does he want a rework?

Seems like a one-year rental, but well worth the meager cost if it means he can contribute while also getting to try out a change of scenery.

We can get out of the deal after this year with 0 dollars dead cap space

Even @pacowill love this trade

Well yea, but point was he was unhappy with his contract this past offseason.

I know he was over 100 tackles and 4-5 picks last year.
