People get enamoured with nebulous 1st round picks. In reality, we are likely to have very late selections.

Would I trade two 27-32 range picks for a 23 year CB who is on a HOFish arc? F yeah.

Seems shortsighted

Smith was the only good WR drafted out of the last like 10 and Howie has always been partial to his draft picks. Don’t see him leaving anytime soon.

Not only that, from what I can see regarding our cap situation this upcoming offseason and on, we’re set up just fine to give him an extension

Colorado needs an OL bad. They can't do a damn thing on O.

Only problem with watching UCLA playing is seeing Chip's stupid ass again

@mattwill

Eagles - 27

Commanders - 17

Bonus: Smith has a big game; 100+ yards and two touchdowns.

Dont agree at all with the Sanders ejection

I thought it was shoulder first. Whip lash from the hit seemed like is what cause the helmet contact. Sucks that it's a one and done type thing though. NCAA needs to review that.

Agree. If you want to do defenseless receiver, fine. Targeting is a little extreme though.

I would say it’s the opposite. Long term it would be a great move, but short term it would piss off the locker room.

In a vacuum, I’m inclined to agree.

My issue is that we are going to need a new RT, either a starting RG or 6th OL, 2 starting CBs, and a high snap count DE over the next 2-3 years.

On top of that we are going to need to give contracts to a bunch of very good young players — Smith, Dickerson, Sweat, Blankenship, etc.

We would have to get VERY creative in how we deal with these issues without our next 2 first round picks.

Damn.. Matthew Perry died. RIP

We happen to have a GM who is pretty creative.

Yeah, died in a jacuzzi. Sad.

Maxey looks like he's taken a big step forward this season.

Damn you, Phillies.  I actually had something I wanted to watch between Eagles games when the Phils were in the playoffs, then they get their ass eliminated and now i'm stuck with the week long voids again between games.  Not watching the Dbags and Rangers, not invested in either team outside of maybe wanting the Dbags to lose for eliminating the Phillies, but that's not enough motivation to get me to watch.

Schefter is either bored, drunk or lost all his sources.

Rivera always gets his team to play well against the Eagles, no matter how well our guys look.  Still see the Eagles have an advantage.  But some easiness nonetheless.

Julio will play and he should get more looks the second time out with the team.

Anybody else making chicken teriyaki stir fry with broccoli, carrots, water chestnuts, and kale in their wok at 11 pm? Jasmine rice and frozen egg rolls in the air fryer.

Had gigs all day. Just caught up on college football. Go Dawgs! Total Domination!

Russia was essentially the Ukraine of WWII. We gave them so much aid. The biggest thing Russia did on their own was mass produce the T-34 tank and the Yak-1 fighter as well as have enough men willing to fight and die as you stated. The Russian Air Force was then filled out with  P-39 Air Cobra and P-63 King Cobra's given to them via lend-lease with the United States.

Information taken from the US/Russian embassy website:

Even before the United States entered World War II in December 1941, America sent arms and equipment to the Soviet Union to help it defeat the NSDAP invasion. Totaling $11.3 billion, or $180 billion in today’s currency, the Lend-Lease Act of the United States supplied needed goods to the Soviet Union from 1941 to 1945 in support of what Stalin described to Roosevelt as the "enormous and difficult fight against the common enemy — bloodthirsty Hitlerism.”

400,000 jeeps & trucks

14,000 airplanes

8,000 tractors

13,000 tanks

1.5 million blankets

15 million pairs of army boots

107,000 tons of cotton

2.7 million tons of petrol products

4.5 million tons of food

I am not disputing that the Allies provided substantial equipment to the Russians in WWII it would argue the 8.7 million military casualties of Russia and the fact the majority of German casualties were on the Eastern front are a significant factor more so than the provisioning assistance from the Allies.  It the same supports why they were essentially depleted by the time they reached Berlin.
