Dallas defense this dominant or Giants that bad? Me thinks its a mix of both.

Defense is legit, offense isn't great

He looked OK, but wouldn't call it good. His play was nothing special.

That's how I felt. I saw a few solid, standard plays, and a few plays where he dropped the ball. Nothing special.

The Giants used to be one of the best run organization in the NFL.

WTF happened to them?

Damn Dallas looks ready to play. It was embarrassing how bad Hurts looked today.

Based off today, and only today. Dallas and SF would take the Eagles behind the woodshed.

In other words, same team as last year.

Milton Williams is really good and was excellent today (save for a semi bogus personal foul).  That’s on top of the impact Davis/Carter had.

3 stud DTs plus Cox.  Cox should be playing light snaps at 110mph.  His stamina is crap but his impact is still legit in bursts.

I noticed Cox in two plays and he stopped a drive himself, good enough for me.

When they gave Jones a big pay day I laughed. Now they are stuck with the doofus.

Daniel Jones looking like...Daniel Jones.  And a splash of Carson Wentz.

Is that like a hero ball and tonic?

Any word on the injuries besides the walking boot comment for Dean?  Or, per usual, will we just find out when we happen to see them on the field next, which may be Thursday or may be September 2024 or anything in between.

Daniel Jones is so bad the Giants are about to call Ian Book

I think it's a team effort on that front. Played pretty dumb football today (play calling included), which is hard to take. But at least he ran less and stayed pretty safe. He even admitted he played terrible and will get better. Billichek with 6 months to prepare for you does matter here as well. And the rain played some psychology at the start in being conservative minded.

Ergly

Giants officially in the Caleb Williams sweepstakes 🤣

So pretend? Like imagining the Eagles were Kenny Pickett and Daniel Jones.

Thanks for the laugh.

McLane said Bradberry has bloodied lip but looked fine otherwise but will depend if he has to go in protocol

The only thing worse than terrible RBs is having a great RB.  You build you offense around a player that either holds out or locks up the worst cap money you’ll ever spend.

You want a rotation of inexpensive good RBs, which is exactly what we have.  The coaches went run heavy, abandoned the rotation, and treated Gainwell like a premium feature back.

The personnel philosophy and on-field utilization were a mismatch today.

No... they never had a rotation. Swift and Scott had 1 carry each and Penny had 1 less carry than them and he wasn't even dressed (literally was probably at home in a robe with some bishes)

It’s actually hero ball with a dash of Eli bitters poured through a skimmer that filters out the Super Bowl performances.

About 70/30 that the giants suck

Just as good as pretending what the Eagles did today is anywhere near the same level as what Dallas or SF did. The Eagles played like crap. Hurts was rookie year level Hurts. The play calling was atrocious. The defense let Mac Jones carve them up.

When?

People on this board are generally not young. You all know week 1 doesn’t mean much except in the WL columns.

Swift getting one carry was the most baffling part of the game to me. Especially with how he looked in preseason. I’m assuming Scott and Penny will rotate being active/inactive. I wouldn’t expect Gainwell being the main guy continuously.

Collinsworth comparing Darren Waller to LeBron James.
