They are going to trade Jalen Hurts for Tua Tagovailoa.... straight up.  Similar to the Eagles-Washington trade years ago... Norm Snead for Sonny Jurgensen.

We should also get Hill and Waddle in the deal.

That would be good.  Make Hill the power back.

I would we are looking at 60% no trade today, 25% edge rusher, 5% LB, 5% RB and 5% CB.

75% no trade. 10% DL, 10% CB, 5 % OL. 0% RB 0% ILB.

Could go CB/DL/OL in hopes of a starter for the future, not a stop gap player for 1 season. Slay Bradbury have options coming up. Cox/Fletch are aged. Kelce/Johnson aging. Perfect time to find a diamond in the rough, who has 2 years left on their deal, and can re-sign them to their first major extension before they blow up. RB will never be an important position for us. Same with LB. We’ve proven we hardly value those positions in terms or resources and money given.

Just realized 9ers play Jacksonville after their bye. That could easily be another loss. Eagles need to take care of the Cowboys this week as Detroit has a cake walk.

Detroit has been really up and down but I agree they will beat the bye week.

I think Howie wants to make a deal but we are running out of tradable picks.  Would he trade a 2 next year and get a 3 or 4 back for a good player?

They beat Jimmy G who is clearly a terrible, awful Quarterback lol. The Ravens have really been their only full strength competition and they got abused. Everyone else they’ve beaten (outside of the Chris Jones & Kelce -less Chiefs) will be competing for a top 10 pick this off season.

I think he’d trade a 2nd for the right younger player under contract or extending them for sure.

Sweat or Young fit that but wouldn't be for a rental.

We can't have 2 sweats on the team surely?

Yeah I don’t think he’s trading more than a 3rd for any rental. They only have $3.3m in Cap space right now.

Lane, Fletcher, Graham, and Kelce will all be off the books. Oh, ye of little faith.

Not entirely because of Howie void years.

It will be a DE. We need production out of Graham’s spot and he’s gone after this year. Love him but he’s bringing next to nothing to the line this year it seems. Good rotational piece at this point.

I think Graham is likely more productive than the stat sheet shows at this point. Of course we also want stat sheet production. But the guy who needs to be replaced first is Barnett. Graham still does positive things even though hes not getting home to the QB this year.

I’d rather have a pass rusher than corner

The Denver GM should be fired if he doesn't make any deals.

Don't worry. Sean Payton is going to fire Paton anyway at the end of the year. Wouldn't be surprised to see Jeff Ireland get that job.

What time is the deadline? 4?

Surtain is off the table. Wouldn't want anyone else from there apart from Jewell given costs.

Old guys for old guys so the real trade was primarily Harden for the picks.  Which JAG young guy has better potential, Petrusiv or Martin because that s the only youth in the trade.  Have to believe Philly came out ahead in salary swaps.  More money for Harris for the commies.

And the cap space

Yes

Said it a few days ago, but we're done with big trades I'd imagine.

And yet most Eagles fans were foolishly rooting for the Lions against the Chiefs on opening night. The scenario where the Lions are good this year was always a plausible one, but for some reason rooting against an AFC team was more important.

Washington probably isn’t trading any of those guys within the division. Maybe Howie can pull the "Remember when we traded you guys McNabb?” even though that didn’t work out for them.
