He was such a great asset that all they were able to get for him was Jalen McDaniels.

And they let him walk for free aka letting an asset go for free. For a team in the luxury tax, you cannot replace that salary with a player, it is not the way to win a title and back to the point that Harris is not a great owner.

Why you see some guys get overpaid ala D'Anglo Russell because he now has a great contract to trade.

I wonder what the cost would be.

Given the fact that he only has the rest of the season under contract, and you’re gonna have to pay him to keep him, but he is only 24 likely a 4th or conditional 5 that can become a 4th

Eagles are missing a prime opportunity to play this song after a Josh Sweat big play.

YES!

90s were definitely the peak of American society

I wonder if the Eagles involvement for Johnson is to drive up the price for SF. Giving up a ton for him doesn't seem to make a whole lot of sense.

Bears got the best of howie last year. They should let us have this one

It could be a double doink trap. Should be wary.

If I'm reading into the Commies and their business model, my prediction is that they will not trade Chase Daniels.  The plan was to move one of them, and to tag the other.  Now that Sweat is gone, Daniels stays.

I was hot to trot for Jaylon during the draft that year

It's rare you hear about a trade target before Howie makes a move

Kinda thought they might be when I saw his name come up.

Are you moving Bradberry to slot?

Josh Dobbs to Vikings

Zeke would be an upgrade over Kenny G. Zeke is the best pass-protection RB in the NFL (Perine is close). He's still a strong red-zone runner. He would actually do a lot of our offense.

Probably would do it for a good young CB who will cost much less than Surtain.

If cost drives way up they'll back out.

Hate to admit it but you're right. He's been solid for NE

There goes the Hicks idea

Doubt Vikings trade Hicks now

Maybe. But there were a ton of rumors around them liking jaylon Johnson and strong possibility of taking him. I think this is more they know they need a long term solution at corner and he’s 24. He’s cheap for the rest of the year but then needs a contract. I also wonder if the eagles believe that bradberry next year could play the slot with a full offseason as they tried him there earlier this year

Dobbs is not their messiah lol

Vikings play the Lions twice and the Saints, so Dobbs being traded there is good for us.

Yep. Figured the Vikes wouldn’t mail it in. 8 wins may make the playoffs in the NFC

Is he an outside CB or would he come here to be slot?

I wasn't sure of his evaluation there for his limited time. If it was good then yes
