Oh, I know. I wasn't implying Cousins will be back this year, I was just talking about the extreme recovery that we're seeing from Rodgers. Would Cousins try the same accelerated process to be back by say mini camps?

Probably had a trade in place and then Barnett got flagged and it fell through 

Really was hoping for a LB or Kenny Moore. I thought the Colts would've moved some guys and we could've struck for Moore or Franklin. Joseph would've been unexpected but a really great get. Too bad that didn't get worked out.

I'm still very unhappy with our backs behind Swift. Scott not included. Maybe with Gainwell having a bad game plus getting in trouble at halftime, they finally give Penny a shot.

They've been as productive this season overall as last year, the red zone is a problem, the turnovers are more on the players.

Given that Johnson has Hurts transitioning to being more of a pocket QB, I don't see any real issue here.

Yep.  Transitioning Hurts to a pocket qb is a must.  That transition is going quite well.  Of course, ask me that 2 weeks ago and I might have a more combustible answer.  At 7-1, it’s going well.

Just because personnel and HC are the same, it’s not fair to credit or discredit any offensive differences to Johnson, the one objective change from last year.  Far too many moving pieces for that.

Not to defend the giants, but I bet that’s a smaller gaffe than we might think.  This isn’t the draft where you have a defined (brief) period of time to make a unilateral decision.  It’s entirely possible to agree to something when it’s too late to get it reported by the deadline.
