Eagles 27

Turds 20

Bonus: Swift > 100 yards.

I like this.  If this happens, I have a feeling they win by more than two scores..  I just saw a stat someplace (not sure where) that said, the Cowboys have not given up an individual 100 yard rusher or 100 yard receiver in a very long time.

He’s not a pure descendent in the coaching tree, but he definitely has some BB in him after spending 10 or whatever years in the thick of the Patriot dynasty.

He’s like one of Robert Baratheon’s ****

When playing downhill Nakobe was good/fine, but I heard on one of the podcasts Howell was 8/8 when targeting him in coverage.

Sounds about right, and tracks with how he played in college.

Is Nolan Smith vs Joey Porter Jr. the 2023 version of BG vs Earl Thomas?

I didn't even realize he was coaching. Man, I HATED him as a player.

One more reason to hate the Raiders.

That's probably what I was thinking of.

Maybe.

For the record I wanted porter🤷‍♂️

I like Nolan but eagles could really use a lock down corner.

No they let BG actually play more than 1 snap a quarter.

Nolan Smith will get going.  He has really high football character and elite athletic ability.  He should start seeing some more playing time and production as the season goes on

Playing 9% of snaps so far on defense. Crazy low for a first round pick. We just need a blow out so he can get more than 2 a snaps in a row. He has crazy speed and bend. Hard to setup an OL when you don’t get to work against him.

For the record, I'm not down on Nolan Smith. I think he's going to be a fan favorite for years. Off the field, he has the perfect personality to replace BG when he's done. Just interesting to see the connections between the 2 drafts. Earl Thomas was a serious need and seemed like a no brainer. I'm pretty sure 90% of us were sprinting to the podium with Nolan Smith's name once it got to pick 30 too. Joey Porter looks nice right now not just because he's playing well but the Eagles need CB of the future and Smith isn't playing much.

I know he isn't a true DE, but the 50% of snaps BG and Barnett are going needs to be much lower and a lot of them should go to Smith.

With no more Dan Snyder, look at this. If Sam Howell is the real deal for them, you wonder if they make a splash trade to get him a WR1 a la Marvin Harrison Jr...sorry, Masssaraaatttiii Marv.

Thomas was widely considered a tier above Graham as a prospect. Not the case here.

They knew he was good when most people didn't, but I don't think even the Chiefs could have foreseen quite how consistently prolific Mahomes has actually been!

The Chiefs GM literally though he was the best player he’d ever seen a year before they drafted him, and sent AR tape of him throughout the entire season.

I mean, I guess you can never be certain on how good a guy will be, but that’s as strong of a conviction as you can reasonably have IMO.

Getting Brady in the 6th is blind luck. Spending a year scouting a guy and trading up to #10 overall to get him isn’t.

Blow up everything in that organization

If we drafted porter we probably wouldn't have played him much like we've done with nolan smith.

Need roby to play. This is the issue they had in the first half of the game in Dallas last year. No one could stop him.

Trust the process?

They do. No doubt.  But they also need edge rushers. With Graham and Barnett being ineffective and FAs at the end of the year, there's nobody behind Reddick and Sweat.

That said corner has to be addressed early in the draft next year.

From what I’ve been told he’s kind of an ahole of a person. Lot of people in the athletic department at Arizona (played college football at Arizona) werent thrilled with some of the things he did and said.

You can look at his big stupid ugly face and tell he's an a-hole

How many of those picks would you need to use to get an expected return of 2 high quality DEs?  I'd say you'd be lucky to spend 4 top picks and hit on 2 players like Sweat & Young.  Probably not even likely to get 2 that good (Young is debatable because of injury issues)
