Quintorris has finally been signed to the 53 and we're talking about press conferences, not signings, press conferences.

At some point something has to give. They can't keep playing like they do in the first half of these games and continue to win. The defense showed up first half of the Miami game but offense was nonexistent, maybe that will be enough for Sunday but I don't think so.

Prediction: Defense gets 3 sacks

I agree that at some point something has to give.  The question is which way "the giving" goes.  Kempski has the following statement in his article today, "The Eagles have turned the ball over 13 times this season. Only five teams have turned it over more."  If the Eagles fix that and get back to their 2022 level of ball security the "giving" will be an improvement rather than a falling back.

The Eagles have yet to play a full game. At best, they've played B- football. They are DUE. There always seems to be a game that we think is going to be close and the Eagles just dominate from the opening snap. I think this could be one of those games.

Eagles 38

Cowboys 17

Brittain Covey- PR TD

Defense- 3 TO

Covey is "baking a pretty nice cake" so far this season.  With a 14.7 yards per return average, he ranks #3 in the NFL.  A PR return TD would be the icing on that cake.  Interestingly enough, he also ranks #3 in the NFL for average per KO Return yardage.

No.

Thanks for that straight answer.  I won't ask again.

The coach speak is bad with this.

I would normally believe that it would level out, but the Eagles are entering a pretty tough stretch of defenses. Their next 5 games are against teams in the top 10 for turnovers. Last years defense had 18 turnovers after their first 8 games, this year they are sitting at 10. The offenses turnovers have taken some unfortunate bounces, but the defense has been lacking also.

I see that more as a slight to Scott and Penny. Gainwell has not played well this year, period.

Sounds like Arthur Smith talking about Ridder

Sorry Nick - have to disagree on this. Stastically he's one of the worst

I didn't mean to be rude or anything,  I just don't get into predictions.

If he's basing KG off of 1 play this year and last years playoffs, that's not good. Last year was last year. He's not playing as good as last year (and I'd argue even that was JAG level) and he's had 2 good plays this year. The Miami TD and the 3rd down catch against LA. He's done absolutely nothing else.

You weren't rude at all.  I realize that the bit of fluff thast the predictions is isn't for everyone.

Glad to see you posting in the Blog.  Hope to see you here more as time goes on.

@LeanMeanGM is always starting something. Last week he attacked Europeans for being weird, and now he’s attacking perfectly normal press conference endings. What a troll.

Carter full practice. Roby still out.

Boston Scott saw Nick's quote saying that he's not as good as Gainwell and said F this.

It was personal that gainwell keeps getting carries with a 3.0 yards per carry average

He was personally offended by the conduct of his teammates most likely

Whomever is the best content creator here needs to come up with a weekly "Hurts Report", publish his weekly and cumulative stats, just because and it sounds cool...not to be confused with the 'Hurt' Report above lol...yes, yes, I realize there is a difference between injured and hurt.

Thanks for that clarification.  I agree with you 100%.

BTW, are you likely to join in on the game score predictions this week?

I'm not either...we seem to do better when I don't put a prediction in....so I'll continue to abstain....but I may have just f'd it up by talking about it....

Interesting that Hurts still isn't on the report.

I read that in my mind in an Allen Iverson voice...😅

It doesn't meet the NFL's reporting requirements and guidelines. Hurts's performance hasn't been compromised and his stats from the last game validate this.

1. Practice Report
The Practice Report is expected to provide clubs and the public an accurate description of a player’s injury status and his level of participation during the practice week. All players who have reportable injuries must be listed on the Practice Report, even if the player takes all the reps in practice, and even if the team is certain that he will play in the upcoming game. This is especially true of key players and those players whose injuries have been the subject of local or national media coverage.

Some injuries are automatically reportable because they result in the player’s unavailability or limited availability to the club. These include any injury that:
(a) causes the player to miss a game;
(b) prevents the player from finishing a game;
(c) causes the player to miss a practice (Did Not Participate);
(d) limits the player’s participation in practice (Limited Participation); or
(e) prevents the player from finishing a practice (Limited Participation).

Other injuries may be reportable because of their effect upon the player’s performance despite his continuing availability to the club.

As one example, assume a club’s quarterback suffers an injury to a finger of his right (throwing) hand during the club’s first game of the season. After treatment, he is able to finish the game despite his injury. Given the injury’s effect upon the player’s performance, and the fact that he is a key player, the injury must be listed on the club’s Practice Report each day of the following week, even if the player takes all the reps in practice, and even if the club is certain that he will play in the club’s next game. In such a case, the player should be listed as "Full Participation (right finger)” in the Practice Report, but would not be listed in the club’s Game Status Report for Week 2 because the player is certain to play in the club’s upcoming game. See Section 2 (Game Status Report) on page 5. The club must continue to list the player on its weekly Practice Reports until the player’s injury no longer affects the player’s performance.
