Embiid is something special in November.  He should have been a baseball player.

Well fair weather fan, he actually usually starts out the season a bit slow.

The 2-1 Sixers up 58-49 at halftime.

Embiid 15 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists in 17 minutes.  He doesn't have any blocks but he's absolutely impacted numerous Raptors misses.

Im tired of the Jokic/Embiid discussion. Embiid finally won MVP and what does Jokic do? In that same year he just goes and gets a finals MVP award instead. Hes consistently stayed a step ahead of Embiid, as Embiid has been focused on the wrong accolade while Jokic has been out for the good of the team. He won his MVPs because he had more assists. And he won the finals because he had a team, and he was the key cog that made it work.

Aside from focusing on the MVP race, and Joker- Embiid has been averaging 7 assists so far this year. Its only 4 games, but that may be a byproduct of Nurse's system and if he keeps it up he might get himself another individual award.

Quez stretches the field.thats his role, he's the fastest WR on the team.

Now whether they value that over say a nickel or dime corner is to be seen, so we'll see.

Only thing Quez is stretching is his hamstring at the Novacare.

Which would be great and all if he could actually catch the ball or win contested catches, he has failed to do that far too often (and it cost them dearly in the Super Bowl).  Speed doesn't do dick for you if you have bad hands.  Quez is basically a speedy Nelson Agholor.

Catching contested catches isnt really his game.

As for the super bowl his play didnt cost then the super bowl nor did he drop that pass

At first look watching the Game I was mad at Quez as it seemed he slowed down before the ball got there, up on further review I saw multiple screen shots that showed the DB In coverage had his hand wrapped around Quez waist way before the ball got there and pulled on him and continued pulling in him at the catch point

It should have been an easy DPI call which if called would have set up eagles for a red zone TD. It was far more egregious than the same call the refs made in bradberry on an uncatchable ball.

Eagles fans would rather kill Quez than the refs because they think it makes them look more classy.

Quez is no world beater but he's a better option than OZ and defenses have to respect his speed.

As for Agholor last I checked eagles won a super bowl with him so...

It’s hard not to watch today’s NBA and not realize that Jokic is just a better overall player in this style of basketball than Embiid. Embiid is great in his own way, but if you’re starting a team from scratch you take Jokic any day of the week. People should have seen enough of Embiid and the rest of the team getting clogged up to realize that.

Yup right now.

Not sure when he'll be back but I'll take him over OZ.

OZ offers nothing, at least defenses have to respect Quez deep speed.

I understand that’s what Sirianni says about Quez regarding his speed opening things up, but you don’t really notice much of a difference between him and OZ. Hurts was fine taking shots down the field last week. And I think I trust OZ more than Quez.

19 yards. That's the most receiving yards in a game Quez has had in his last 11 games, including the playoffs.

We will see. Embiid recently said he loves the style Nurse has them playing. Never wanted to be an ISO player. Doesnt like playing that way. Doesnt think thats the way to win. We could see a new side of Embiid averaging 7 assists a game. You still have the inevitable playoff injury coming. But this season has been fun so far seeing how Nurse has the team playing.

Trust Oz to do what exactly???

What exactly does he do, he has what 3 catches in 8 games.?

I Iike OZ but defenses don't worry about him at all.

Quez speed has to be accounted for when he's on the field and most the time he's just a decoy whose job is to occupy a deep safety.

Oz isn't really a decoy for anything, he works hard and plays hard but he's a non factor and it's not like he's a big try hard tough run blocker either.

Id actually like to see him on some gadget plays, reverses, jet sweeps, I think that would fit his skill set better than whatever he's doing now.🤷‍♂️

Steelers just ran the Eagles Brotherly Shove Fake that resulted in a Swift TD.  This one was for a huge gain on 4th and 1.

Eagles are the innovators of the league right now.  Continued good health of this team will equal multiple titles.  We are at the forefront of the league.

Brandon Graham had around 8 sacks this time last year. I wonder why he only has a half sack so far this season.
I find it strange that nobody has mentioned it in the media. I can only imagine it is because of his age.
Is this LE Graham's last season?

Embiid has had the worst injury luck come playoff time.  Jokic also had a finally healthy Murray who was just as important to their title run.  Jokic doesn't play anywhere near the defense as Embiid and Embiid is expanding his offensive game with the passing this year.  Embiid will never be the passer that Jokic is and Jokic will never be the defender that Embiid is but Embiid can get his offensive game closer to the impact of Jokic than Jokic can his defensive game to Embiid.

Health is the only thing that really stops Embiid.  Eventually he's going to have his year.  It might be a Dirk late career against a juggernaut seemingly David vs Goliath title win but he will get it.

He only plays like 16 snaps a game, hes had a reduced role and a different role this year

Take for instance Nolan's first sack, who was the DL occupying a blocker so Nolan could go untouched for the sack? BG.

And who was the first guy to go over and celebrate with Nolan? BG.

He's been solid this year in doing the dirty work In limited snaps and yeah this is probably his last year, I'd imagine.

Both have a minimal impact on the game so to me it just comes down to who is less of a liability. And I’ve seen enough of Quez to know that he’s more of a liability despite how good he is at running fast.

AJ catches that all day

Titans will never live this down

One of the first on the sideline to congratulate Ghost on his INT vs the Commanders.

Leadership role to usher in the next generation of Eagles talent

Quez has more potential to have an impact than OZ.
