He should probably go drag race. That’s more acceptable.

I'm more than fine with crying after a tough game, seems Caleb Williams does it to get attention.

I mean there's crying and then there's whatever he's doing, like most of what he does and says it's a bit dramatic and over the top

I think the dudes a turd so I may be biased but I don't think it's a good look but I don't any gms or scouts are going to use it as reason to drop his evaluation

I'd be more worried about the other stuff like him saying he won't go to certain teams unless they offer him ownership, thats next level diva stuff

Can you imagine a rookie walking into a veteran locker room claiming he's a minority owner of the team, how do you think that would go over with someone like Jason kelce or any other locker room leader?

Caleb Williams will be an entitled cancer in the NFL.

Ok maybe not a good look for some.  The guy is close with his mom apparently.

If you were a GM are you passing on him because of that?

Nope not at all, hopefully his mom wouldn't be in the locker room painting his nails and holding an umbrella for him at camp but I wouldn't draft him for all the other diva stuff he's said and done.

I want players who care so much that they're sad after a game. Few things bother me more as a fan than when players are happy/indifferent after a loss.

He’s been dramatically worse vs pressure this season - and Drake Maye has become a 1B option - so it’s not like he’s in a tier by himself… nobody is passing on him for long, but that wasn’t a question this time last year.

Wow Jalen Ramsey is playing.  Didn't think k he was coming back u til December.

@mattwill

Eagles 33

Cowboys 27

Bonus: zero eagles turnovers

People are complicated. If I were in his position I would say things to not have to play for certain teams too. If the majority of teams want me, I’m not going to Carolina lol.

is it being a bit of a diva? Sure, but it’s his life.

He almost had a pick 6 last week.

I guarantee you they at least notice it. Just look how deep GMs and scouts dig during the pre draft process and in the interviews they do at the combine. They are looking at this and saying, THIS is the guy who might demand ownership of the team if we draft him? QB is a position that will be making $300 million by the time his 2nd contract is due. They are going to want to know as much as they can about him as a man and his character. What adversity can and can't he face?

Most scouting reports I've seen about him praise his leadership and say teammates love him.

As far as him staying in college because he doesn't want to play for the Bears or Cardinals.  Did he say that or is it a "rumor or report or overheard in his circle"?   Remember there were reports that Joe Burrow didn't want to go to the Bengals.  You can't believe these reports all the time.

Yeah, but it's a fine line. How many extremely talented college QBs have we seen not make it in the NFL? You need mental toughness and strength.

You learn a lot about someone with how they deal with adversity when crap doesn't go their way for the first time. We agree you want someone who cares, and crying is one thing, but sobbing uncontrollably after running to mommy is way over the top. That is a guy who couldn't handle life. Good luck to the team who grabs him.

Our back 7 desperately needs more team speed, not less. Trotter Jr is good, but is better served going to a team with fast, athletic DBs. That's just not us.

I don’t think we should make any determination on who we draft based on the configuration of older players in the secondary.

Just for the sake of the argument, let’s say we draft Trotter in round 2. By his second year, we’re going to have two new starting corners. Ringo could be one, and he’s really fast. Brown projects to be a starter at safety, and he’s a missile back there. Blankenship isn’t fast, but he’s not slow either.

Mahomes throwing his hands up in the air looking for a flag after every incompletion is annoying as hell.

Can you think of high level starting corners who couldn't get on the field as rookies like Ringo? I've been trying to think of one.

Eagles: 38

Dallas: 34

Bonus: Dak with 3+ turnovers

If Dak has 3+ turnovers and we only win by 38-34 I will be (slightly) disappointed.

Miami look bad today

I have no problem with a player refusing to play for a team in the draft.

NFL careers are short and fragile. If I were Caleb, or Luck, or some other once in a generation type of QB prospect, there is absolutely no way I would agree to play for a bad organization.

Theres just too much at risk — my physical health, my second contract which is potentially $60 million per year, and my legacy as a player.

No one cares that Elway or Manning leveraged their demand to play for the organization they wanted to play for. People DO remember that they played for over a decade and won super bowls.

He was on high level college defense, but a 4th round pick selected due to H/W/S rather than polish. Not shocking, but somewhat disappointing… Zech McPherson?

Yes it is his life and his actions have consequences.

He wouldn't be the first QB to pull the ill only play for certain teams and he won't be the last.

The asking for  ownership of the team he's drafted to is ridiculous

Let's say a crappy team drafts him then gives him ownership shares, what's to stop every player iny every team especially established superstars asking for the same? Before you know it the inmates are running the asylum.

He just seems like an entitled diva and that's not going to fly in a lot of locker rooms, especially at QB.

Every kind of play now…

Just did it again on a scramble

Can't believe they have the NYG- LV game on TV instead of Eagles-Cowboys on the east coast.

What is the MIA defense doing - dropping DEs and playing soft with Ramsey/Howard?

Inmates running the asylum had some racist undertones when McNair said it and still does. Poor choice of words.

Generational talents get to request things. Players deserve all the money they can get. He has an asking price to play for certain teams…so be it. Certain guys can get away with it. I don’t think he believes he’s going to get ownership. It’s his way of telling teams to stay away, but if they offer it? Well then.

NYG fans don’t even want to sit through that dreck.
