The fact that they can put a field that bad out there for the biggest game of the year means there clearly was something wrong with the system.  The system failed... miserably.

I know both teams played on the same slop. But which team did it neutralize more? The Eagles historic pass rush

It's a conspiracy in my book.

That's a lot of 'ribs'.  🤔.  What are the odds that 75% of the injuries would all be ribs?

It was crap conditions all around but wouldn't the secondary be the most effected? Guarding Smitty and Brown without being able to cut effectively in that swamp must've been rough too to be fair.

From the snap, how quickly they get off the ball.
Dallas has the same high-level pass rush get-off, but at EDGE instead of DT.

Milton is in for a serious year with all the attention going to Carter. That unit is scary.

He looked really good on Sunday for as little attention as he got.

During the Fran Duffy podcast (Eagle Eye in the Sky), Greg Cosell's first point on defense was how well Milton looked on Sunday.

I think it’s a little too coincidental all three had great games while Jordan Davis also had his best game as a pro. They can only play against whose on the schedule and who lines up against them, but I’m wondering how much was due to both starting G’s being surprise inactives

I can’t put SF ahead of us or Dallas ahead of KC in any list.  I don’t care how long and eventful an off-season may be, week 1 doesn’t change what happened in January with seasons on the line.

Does anyone seriously think Dallas could even remotely hang with KC in a playoff game??(obviously it would only be SB, but just pretend it’s a divisional game).

Is there anything that could possibly happen in week 1 that would change that?

If the field is dry, sure.

It’s both.  Half our teams capital is in the interior DL.  And the interior DL faced a pair of backup G’s.

So they did what they were supposed to do.  It won’t be like that every week.  But we’ll also have more games where the qb isn’t getting the ball out so quickly too.

I would think pass rush…but I’m sure it was both.  The point is it was the same for both teams.

It just hurt the strengths of our team more

Agreed. It affected the Chiefs line less as they are more power than speed.

47 hours til Kickoff.  Week One I "pushed" to get the maximum number of predicions recorded.  This week and in the weeks to come, I will be much less pushy.

For anyone who missed the recap of last week, here it is:

Imma roll with 31-17 Eagles as it all comes together for the O and D.

Four sacks for the D.

You posted this at the exact time I sent in my prediction. Quick, what number am I thinking of (between 1 and 10)?
