My concern/frustration with week 2...

We know the Eagles approach to the preseason and TC.  They skip it.  It's a giant mini camp.  They sacrifice preparation for health.  Not here to debate that (and I don't have a strong opinion on it).  But combine that approach with a rainy week 1 on the road against Bill Belichick.  Then sprinkle on 3 days rest/adjustment into Thursday night football, which is notoriously sloppy due to the quick turnaround.

I don't want to get too deep into the season before the team settles in and achieves lift off with some feel-good, momentum-establishing all-cylinder-hitting style points.  Thursday won't be that game, under the circumstances.
