IMO it’s a stupid rule but I think it’s a touch back.  Eagles got burnt hard by this rule a few years back.

How many times will Eagles defense bail out Jalen down 3 starters? When will he stop staring at the turd as he flushes it? When will he play up to his contract? Tune in for 2nd half.

More than likely yes.  They needed a camera from the sky directly over the pylon to be definitive...  but the technology exists to triangulate the position of the ball with the camera angles they have... but they don't use that.

It's not a dumb rule.  There should be penalty for fumbling it out of the endzone.
