At first I thought this was something getting blamed on Eagles Fans.  Then I thought whoever is yelling out the N word on the sidelines probably won't last very long in Philly

Indeed.  The City of Brotherly Kick Your Ass would knock that racist talk right out of your head. As it should be.

That's awful.  I'm so sorry

Ha. It's a nice place to visit in the summer. Best fireworks display I've ever seen, sponsored by Target on the Mississippi River in late July.

And they made a molten image, and set it up on high,
And there it stands unto this day to witness if I lie.
It stands in the Comitium, plain for all folk to see;
Horatius in his harness, halting upon one knee:
And underneath is written, in letters all of gold,
How valiantly he kept the bridge in the brave days of old.

Philly Special

Wow.   I am awed.

Yup.  May through September were really enjoyable.  The local companies (Honeywell, 3M, etc.) sponsor a ton of concerts and events.  The population knows they can only survive outside for a few months out of the year, so they compress 12 months of enjoyment into 5.

Minnesota gonna Minnesota? They need to purify themselves in the waters of Lake of Minnetonka

Sorry Dr, we must let him cook

A look at Hurts' performance last night.

Nice job by Hurts on recognizing the blitzes on the two deep throws to Smith and signaling him to go deep.

Also notes that the clear out route on the interception was poorly done, which likely impacted the play.

I think the part of Swift’s game that I enjoyed the most last night was how patient he was in letting the gaps develop. Reminded me of watching prime Le’Veon Bell where he lets the blocking develop then goes. He had some Shady like cuts last night too. Puts one foot in the ground and the defender is on skates. Very intelligent runner.

Amen!

I have my doubts that we'll see adequate evolution from them this season. I think we'll have to look elsewhere, although one other option once Reed comes back is to go heavy nickel with Brown, but that's predicated on having a third competent safety which it appears we do not.

That is my preference.  Use the cauldron of the season to develop the young players.

Based on his past I'm assuming it involves hallucinogens, goofy supplements and either a complete lack of sunlight or aggressive amount of sunlight.

Some Viking fans DM'ed him calling him the N word and other stuff because he fumbled the ball and they lost. Mattison put it all out there on his Instagram.

Holy freaking crap. I hope they get doxxed.

The route he threw to was the clear route…AJ was pretty much wide open for a TD behind it.

@just relax  in rewatching the condensed game, I was focusing on the OL.  Will do the same with the coaches film.  My initial take was Lane doesn’t seem to have his core strength back yet.  @HazletonEagle may have some insight on recovery of core strength after abductor surgery. I thought Jurgens was struggling at first but when they started running the ball, his strength started to stand out.  Mailata and Dickerson in the run game is a thing of beauty.  There is a reason, besides a QB that squats 600, as to why the sneak is so effective on the left side of the ball. (Complaints that Hurts is pushed in are ridiculous.  He does that with let strength.). Dickerson still makes a mistake or two each game.  He pushed the player that Mailata had engaged into Hurts for the sack.  Now I don’t think Hurts escapes being sacked because the spying LB was coming in the gap created by Dickerson turning to try and help Mailata. Curious on your take.  Take a look at the Vikings RT if you would.  Seemed to control Reddick all game.

T.O.’s hyperbaric chamber?

I think I need to retract my criticism of Swift on the play where Dickerson was flagged for holding. I initially thought he had a clear opening in the middle that he could have easily converted the first down through. However on replay examination I have to admit that the hole closed up pretty quickly. Bouncing it wide was probably the way to go, although it did make the block much more difficult for Dickerson.

Pretty ticky tack call too.

Sullivan specifically says it really wouldn't have mattered. I think you misunderstood the comment. Hurts made a bad read there, should've tossed it up to Brown, if anything.

My thoughts exactly. It's not an "automatic" play. It's just an automatic play with our run blocking and Jalen's thicc thighs.

I really don’t think Bradberry is going to be that good in the slot outside of certain matchups.

Nope, he's going to be a guy they want to use against more agile TE's, not a traditional slot. Goodrich is the guy moving forward I'd assume.

Replace the term "stem cells" with "hallucinogenic toad venom" and that's pretty much my guess too.

What the hell was he thinking on that INT??? Yeah, Brown should have run harder, but Hurts decided where he was going before the snap, looked at it the entire way, and even though he had to see 25 there he threw it anyway. Bad decisions happen, but he wasn't looking anywhere else.
