Sure can but first ballot is kind of limited as an honor.

And again, they're both eligible to be inducted on their first ballot. There's no rule that only one first ballot inductee can be chosen per class.

Anyone superstitious/concerned about the fact that we play on MNF this week and in the last 3 MNF weeks there were major injuries to Damar Hamlin, Aaron Rodgers and now Nick Chubb. Are we all going to be doing some sort of praying/protection rituals this week?

Not in the slightest

No, it won’t. I’m a huge fan of Hunter and I’m thoroughly enjoying watching the Buffs play, but nobody in their right mind is expecting them to beat Oregon or USC. They have the skill position players but their oline and dline aren’t up to par to hang with them. All I’m hoping for is an entertaining and closer than expected game.

I am so tired of boozed up NFL game fan culture. The league is in bed with the alcohol companies so they’ll never do it, but just stop serving alcohol or put a cap on it at this point. If you can’t go to a game without getting loaded up, then maybe let someone who wants to enjoy the experience go instead.

The NFL fan culture is a microcosm of the American culture.  This isn't about "NFL game fan" culture.  This is about American culture.  I'd say more... but it might be viewed as 'political'.

Who had Deion Sanders becoming the best coach in college football on their bingo card?

That's the right message.

The Damar Hamlin situation wasn't in the last 3 weeks of MNF.   But MNF has been the setting for a number of horrific injuries going back decades.  Joe Theismann's broken leg was MNF.  Napolean McCaullem's leg 'folding' the wrong way was MNF.  But, that's just the odds working out.  They play a lot of games on MNF, and there are a lot of injuries.  There are horrific injuries on the other days/nights too, but if its not a national game, it won't draw the same attention.   Alex Smith's leg injury was just a 1PM Sunday game, so less people watched it live.  It was more of a foot note than the Theismann injury.  But, frankly, I don't know which was 'worse'.   Smith's sure had a longer lasting impact on him than Theismann's did.  It was the end of Theismann's career, but he didn't suffer the infections and secondary issues that Smith did, even though he managed to return the NFL briefly.

Anyone else having issues getting tweets to populate with the preview when posting in here? Mine are just showing as links as of late: https://twitter.com/mike_e_kaye/status/1704203991540814145?s=20

When I hover over your link it shows the x.com url, not twitter.com. When I copy the link directly from twitter I have no issues. I guess there's a board/software issue with x.

Calm down coochie. Nowhere did I declare that these rankings are going to sustain themselves.

The middle needs some work to keep the defense off balance. Goedert will get going eventually, but I’m not a fan of them eliminating the middle of the field. I think with the success the Birds have had going deep will cause the defenses to back off a little and open that middle. Putting more tape out there how the Eagles are going to counter these looks will start to open things up. The Eagles have a good offense in the sense they can go deep, work the middle, and run it down your throat. I understand they are still getting their feet under them, I think it will work itself out.

I think we are generally in agreement. When I say not sustainable I’m meaning running 250+ a game as RLC alluded to being the floor. Yes, the Eagles can run the ball well, but not like that weekly if the passing game doesn’t get going. While I think the passing will work itself out, if it doesn’t then teams are going to key on the run.

I know Hurts will work hard to improve, and have faith in him working through this.

If defenses key on the run and start cheating the secondary up the WRs will have a field day.

I have been using Share Via and then copying the address from Safari or Google.  One more step but it works.

Eagles have a spot on the PS with the Evans departure so Tryout Tuesday may result in a PS signing.

Dawk should've played more. I'll never forgive Banner for that horseshit he pulled with a player who gave so much of himself to the team and the game.

Have you forgiven all the people on this board who said he had lost a step and was a liability in pass protection?

@mattwill

Bucs 30-19

Mike Evans 169 receiving yards

1000% I was thinking that as soon as I read that above.

Eagles 25
Bucs 20

Bonus Goedert with our 1st TD

Ok… yes, you’re definitely right. Didn’t realize he was that high on the sacks list. Maybe it was all of those years playing in small markets.

One of my favorite things ever is Julius Peppers’ college transcripts from UNC

He's still not as high on sacks as you are Herbert the Pervert!
