I did find it curious how all the statements made it clear nothing happened at Hallas Hall and never once refuted his house part, but figured with so much miss-information out there, there wasn't a point in pushing it anymore. Interesting to see what comes of this because the fact it blew up so much makes it seem like there is another shoe to drop.

There was a lot of chaff and redirect going on in the NFL community since it all leaked.  You can read between the lines and see may have happened, but no one seems to want to say the quiet part out loud.

Can't say I blame them in some respects, but they can't deny what happened forever

@Swoop Enjoy that egg on your face and remember what they say about making assumptions

I will never live this down...

Obviously a major blow to them, but that sucks. Hate seeing people get hurt

Really depends on how the year plays out. Is Reddick & Sweat getting extended? We have Smith developing but if one of those guys is out then DE is pretty high up the carts.

OL I think could be fine as long as Lane ends the year healthy and in a good place mentally.

S? No shot there.

CB? Absolutely a possibly due to age.

My guess is Sweat gets extended and Eagles brass hope that Smith can develop into a Reddick-type player. Graham approaching the end of his great run. Could see DE in play in RD1.

Hoping Steen can take over at RG next year if this is Kelce's last season and Cam moves over. To be determined. Johnson has at least two seasons left in him after 2023. Could possibly wait a year or two to draft high.

Secondary is a big question mark. If an upper tier CB falls in RD1, it might be too good to pass up on. Not sure I see Slay and Bradberry eventual replacements on the roster. Jobe will get a chance this season to flash. Maybe Ricks at some point.

Watching this play, you see that George is in a good athletic position at the podium and reacts nicely to the first shoe.  And he maintains his poise and keeps his eyes up looking for that second shoe.  That's just great awareness.  And I could be wrong, but is he smiling a little in between the first and second shoe being tossed?

Not a widely known fact that he was an Eagles draft pick.  Never made the squad.

I believe he was on injured reserve (or whatever name they called it back then) for his entire rookie year and then didn’t make it the next year. Madden always had a soft spot for the Eagles.

The fact that the Raiders played the Eagles in the HOF Game the year he was inducted was not a coincidence.

21st round pick.

It's a bad product.

Eagles draft priorities next year will be the same as they always are outside of DT in R1. If a great potential Lane replacement is within range, that would probably be ideal. If I had to bet though? I'd go CB in R1.

With so few teams in the league then, it’s like a seventh round pick today!

They won’t need Ayuk

So Dallas is obviously looking for corner help.

Jobe for Parsons straight up. Win-win

I’m guessing there will be a difference of opinion on who to root for tonight. In my view, while the 49ers are probably the bigger threat, you always worry about your own division first. So that’s why I’ll root against the Giants.

YMMV.

Highest rated OT, CB, or EDGE available. LB, OG, or Safety day 2.

Do you have blind faith that none of them leak?

Think there's a better chance they go WR day 2 than those positions.

Sort of a Doc Graham (Field of Dreams) path.

Imagine if he played a few years in the NFL.

His path to coaching and subsequent popularity may never have unfolded.

"The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco."

Twain didn't say it but it's attributed to him.

The secret to San Francisco weather is to be there in the fall months, we get great weather then....but the coldest I have ever been in California was a June night at Candlestick with the fog and the wind...we wouldn't leave ...it was John Montefusco vs Steve Carlton that ended 0-0 after 9...Bobby Murcer hit a walk off in the 10th.

I like penix. Think he has a shot to be a good nfl qb but he’s gonna be 24 when he starts his first nfl game. I love Caleb Williams. He’s the closest thing at the college level to Patrick mahomes and he’s only 22 next year.

They’re playing QB, not RB or CB

No question. Best case is 49ers win and Purdy gets exposed.
