I just looked at the weather forecast for Sunday in Foxborough. Doesn’t look good. Might be rainy.

You know Belichick is dropping contrails in the sky to manipulate the weather and stop Hurts

Well, I think you're wrong.  Let's look closely at the comment.

I'd say it's a personal attack.  It did not at all refer to my comment.

It referred to me,  and it was about multiple comments.  It changed the subject.  It was off the topic.  It was a personal attack. "oozed".   I'm just saying that that's the class or category it belongs in.  Not saying it's a big deal.

Your last sentence might be good advice though.   I'm not going to be typing out "that's a personal attack" every time it happens.

Doesn't matter what is done or said, someone will find it offensive.

This is a great example of what is wrong with this world today. People are just to dam soft and sensitive today.

Honestly wish we could go back to the 80's and early 90's before internet and people were not so petty.

Here’s one to ponder:

GM for 1 season, average team. Need to make the playoffs to keep your job.

Do you sign Eli Manning or Troy Aikman?

I’ve seen Eli Manning do things that I’ve never seen Troy Aikman do. Conversely, I’ve seen Aikman win a lot of crucial games throwing for 150 yards with his HoF roster. Not saying Aikman was bad by any means, but don’t think he’s the slam dunk answer.

maybe.  but it had a big YOU in it.  And it had absolutely nothing specific about arguments.  I think it falls into the category I put it in.  It's not that it really matters.

Don't talk about the people,  talk about the specific thing being presented.

When one puts together a never ending pattern of dumb arguments, it’s reasonable to draw conclusions about the capabilities of the individual

One of the tried and true Logical Fallacies is Ad Hominem where the message is not engaged, but instead the messenger is the focus of the response.  His words "mockery of intelligent discussion" is all about the quality of your message, not about you personally.  I suspect you need a thicker skin if you are going to consistently swim upstream the way you do.

He’s trolling for a reaction as he saw how his response to the cartoon got one.  We have two who do that on here.  Outrageous statements to see what reactions they can get. Follow @austinfan’s long articulated advice.  Just scroll by.

Aikman, no question. He was one of the most accurate passers I’ve ever seen. It’s not his fault that Jimmy Johnson built a great team around him which emphasized the run game.

I do agree the victim ideology is visible to more people, but if you spent time at the "water cooler”, the breakroom or at a bar, from the 50s through the 90s, there were plenty of folks expressing victimhood.  Sure, we would watch Gary Cooper and later Clint Eastwood portraying the stoic men of action in reality there was plenty of George Bailey to go around.  Back to the Future is just a more modern version of the same tale with Marty as George Bailey.

Aikman was the better quarterback, easily. Not even a difficult answer for me. Troy all the way. Eli was only good at staying healthy, throwing ducks that were caught, and having a good defense to bail him out.

Good thing we have a lot of RBs

Aikman was quite a bit better than Eli.  Their best years were 15-20 years apart, so almost a generation, but Aikman still had the better completion percentage.  For all the talk about what a great offense Dallas had, it was Irvin and a running game/OL.  Harper and Novacek weren't that great as weapons.  As good as Emmitt Smith was, the Giants from 2004-2012 piled up a bunch of rushing yards -- 1,500-2,000 yards per season between 1 or 2 RBs

Giants are the only team the Cowboys can beat week 1 so the NFL keeps scheduling it.

He's by far the least entertaining, most boring sport talk show host I've ever heard.  I desperately try to get home before 6 after work so I don't have to listen to his yawning, mumbling, jibber jabber for even a minute.

Define "great" OL depth.

Simple answer... Lose 2 players on the OL and not miss a beat offensively.   Good OL Depth would be to lose 1 OL and not miss a beat offensively.   Decent OL depth would be to lose a player and manage to function properly offensively, but with considerable changes to the game plan.  Bad OL depth is where 1 loss along the OL turns your offense into a stagnant and predictable quagmire.

No surprise there.  You definitely strike me as the type that prefers the corny morning zoo style of Angelo and the rest of these hot take dependent hosts in the city with their same 5 callers.

No, he didn't.   He started the sentence with a capital letter.

When your arguments presented are cogent and worthy of discussion, they will be discussed.  Until then, they will remain on the fringe.

Gannon couldn't stop a nose bleed against good QBs, but was the genius behind the scenes.

Word is the NFL will be erecting a statue outside of the Football HoF for him.
