You aren’t wrong but when people discuss Purdy it’s almost an unfair criticism. That’s how the offense was built and what the coach wants to do, and he does it.  Especially in situations like last night, he was blitzed 84% of the time with a bad o-line. It’s no surprise his ADoT and other metrics are going to suck.

Fair points. I guess I'm not impressed with more what he's asked to do than not impressed with him.

That makes the whole Trey Lance trade up even more bizarre to me. If this is what you want our of your offense why spend so much capital on a raw athlete guy like Lance? Spend nothing and draft game managers

Yea that one’s still a head scratcher. I think the "49ers traded up for Mac Jones” rumors everyone laughed at might have had more legs and than everyone thought. But still doesn’t make sense why they would trade up that high.

3-0 would be nice, but the point differential is telling a story.

Agreed!  The story is who gives a flying f....Jesus, some of you are such poozies!  They play New England, on the road, in a monsoon, with Belichick and yeah, it was closer than we might have liked.  Then you play the Vikings without almost your entire secondary, your starting MLB and they controlled that whole game and Minny scores a TD with 1 minute left in the game to make it look a lot closer than they were.

Have they looked perfect?  No!  But who cares....they are 2-0, they hopefully will be 3-0 have Tampa Bay.  But you make it sound like they are the Giants or the freaking Panthers or Texans.

Eagles 27

Bucs 20

Bonus: Rachaad White has less than 2.8 YPC

Cousins and Herbert are going to throw for a combined 1000 yards. 2 bad defenses and 2 bad running games.

I may defend the city (kinda), but the fans are the WORST

Some haymakers thrown there.

Gotta clean this up though.

Terrible example for kids present.

Start banning these punks.

I don't like it either, but we do tend to modify our behavior a bit depending on the location we are passing through.

Well you are a wild one.  My wife keeps reminding me I am older but I take after my dad and really don’t modify my behavior especially not based on red or blue.  Really haven’t much since I cut my hair in the late seventies.  White male privilege.  I don’t even hide my Eagles sticker on my car in Dallas and have been known to wear an Eagles Tshirt or cap there.  DC area and NY/northern Jersey too.

Eagles 36

Buccaneers 23

AJ Brown, Goedert and DeVonta all get a TD catch.

Love Mailata’s response.  He really has a future in entertainment.  I do want to point out that I dragged the whole Blog to think about it this month with my challenge to @Iggles_Phan and @just relax, both of whom nailed it.

Stop throwing punches and start throwing people down the stairs is the best strategy

I always wonder with stuff like this where is it happening more often or is it just being recorded more often? There’s literally been an incident like this every week and someone was killed at the Pats game this past week.

The league needs to do something whether it’s upping security or getting police involved. These people should be banned from the stadium and charged.

I get you.

At the same time, having worked in a lot of different cities over the past two decades, certain things stand out.  When I was working there the homeless population was bad, but everything I've seen and heard from friends that liver there, it's gotten nuts.  Same thing with Denver.  I worked there all of 2004 and most of 2006, moved there in 2009 and lived there till 2016.  After they legalized it (and Colorado being first), there was a MASSIVE influx of homeless there that led to a surge in crime, especially in my neighborhood which was right by the shelter.  It feels like San Fran is experiencing the same with their "don't prosecute shoplifters" stance.... its a bit of legislation that caused serious problems with increased crime, especially with the homeless.

I'm down in the Springs.  It's even bad down here too.

Truth is that we didn't know.  We were on our way from Escalante UT to Ely NV, and headed west out of town on UT 21, and it is hard for me to pass up an ice cream stop ... and we both needed a bathroom break.

Have you lived there, have you been in most blocks? I have, I worked in SF , on the streets,  I worked in Oakland door to door, never saw anymore poop on the street than I did in any other big city.

Fights break out at most stadiums in the NFL probably not a coincidence that the most fights breakout at the bigger market teams and definitely doesn't help when one stacks people on top of each other like sardines then fill them with alcohol.

SF fans do seem to be a special kind of stupid though, I mean the video is of niner fans beating up niner fans🤞

It's pretty common knowledge about the ish on the streets and the rampant issue it's became.  If you don't know you live under a rock.

Happening more often. People have been recording things for a long time now and social media has been around to spread it for a long time as well. But these fights or other acts of violence seem to be happening more often in the last 4 or so years.

I agree with this. I haven’t been a fan of the "sky is falling” despite being 2-0 narrative. The coordinators are still getting their footing and I think Desai has done a good job given the circumstances with injuries thus far too. They were up 16-0 in the NE game and 27-7 against MIN. They sit on the ball when they go up, they don’t run it up. It was the same thing last season. People want 45-17 blowouts and that’s just not what they do. Despite the one possession games, they’ve always felt in control of the game.

The only thing that has really pissed me off through two games was the sequence early in the 4th quarter of the MIN game where Hurts took a sack knocking them out of FG range.

They look like the 2nd place team in the division and the 3rd in the conference. My expectation is to get back to the SB, not to be fat and happy about slipping by middling teams.  You seem to have a more casual approach, which is fine minus the name calling which isn’t cool.
