Like i said a couple days ago, cj stroud has been the best rookie Qb and I’d argue he’s doing it with a less than ideal oline that has a bunch of injuries.

That started it all…

Phillies getting hot late in the season. Should make for exciting NL playoffs.

Never shied away from being a Braves-Eagles fan here.

I see the Braves and Phillies meeting again this postseason. And it really is a toss up. Both teams did better on the road. Comes down to pitching matchups I suppose.

Braves have been playing down to teams lately. Marlins and Nationals of late. Don't know what to think of this team. Statistically historic on offense. But shaky in a 7 game series.

Awesome moment for him and his dad

If the Phillies play the Braves it’s gonna be the best of 5 in the nlds.

My thoughts- Eagles O comes alive.... Baker keeps the Bucs in the game

Birds 34

Bucs 26

She lived near Reading (Wyomissing?)until she was a teenager. I don't think we're her intended audience.:P

That's right my bad. It would be the NLDS. Complete toss up

Michael Irvin predicted 4 TD passes for Sam Howell today on the NFL Network pregame show.  Instead he threw 4 INTs

Thats one of his "better" results from his predictions.

If the Phils hit HRs they can beat anyone in the playoffs. If they go through a power slump they could go out in the WC round. They rely so much on the HR. I love the bullpen. Not sure why people have been trashing it lately. Seranthony and Alvarado are two of the best relievers in baseball and Kimbrel had a resurgent year no one saw coming. They have a way better bullpen than the Braves who legitimately have a terrible bullpen.

#20 on Pittsburgh looked like he was being Raptured

Depends on really how the rotation sets up. Braves will have strider game 1 and likely 4 or 5. You’d ideally want wheeler game 1 to match those two. Gives you a much better chance. Fried is likely the game 2 starter. On the road I’d go Suarez. He’s been way better on the road then nola. And on the road you can’t be mentally fragile and allow a hit or walk to turn into a snowball. I’d probably go Suarez then nola for game 3 with a short leash with Sanchez piggybacking him.

Unfortunately agree. Braves bullpen has been shaky down the stretch. Fortunately for them, their offense has usually been good enough to cover it up lol

Cause dominguez in September has a 4.35 ERA and given up 5 runs in 10 innings pitched. And soto since august 30th has a 6.23 era (6 runs in 8.2 innings pitched)

The Colts beating the Ravens and the Cards beating the Cowboys is why you never apologize for wins in the NFL.

2-0 is 2-0. Just win baby.

Well... Realmuto is hitting now, even at CBP, even with RISP!  Castellanos is heating up again.  Turner got a double and broke that 0 for.  Schwarber continues to get on base and smoke the ball.  Harper is as hot as can be.  Bohm, Stott and Marsh have grown up significantly since last year.  Compared to last year's lineup... this lineup is deeper, IMO.  Lost Segura and Hoskins.  Added Turner and Rojas.  Lose a bit of power, but add significant speed dimension to the lineup.  So, the real difference in the lineup from last year is the young trio I mentioned earlier just maturing.

The question is how will the pitching hold up?  Both starting pitching and relievers.  Last year, I felt great with Alvarado and Dominguez, but I was much more unsure about the rest.  This year?  Kimbrel hasn't been lights out recently... Alvarado and Dominguez have been too inconsistent.  Of the entire group, only Hoffman has been extremely solid.   That said... the guys they have in the bullpen have some nasty stuff... and if maybe having a few days off after clinching, they can get some more life in their arms and be ready to go for the postseason.  Kimbrel, Soto, Alvarado and Dominguez should be a solid foursome for the postseason, if they are 'on'.  Here's hoping they find it again, the hitters seem to have.

Wentz never did end up giving Jake his paycheck like he had promised.

Stroud has thrown the most passes to start a career without an INT with 121.

The fact that stroud is doing it behind the Texans ine who has had a bunch of injuries makes it much more impressive.

I don't think he was allowed to. If I remember correctly, he made a donation to a charity picked out by Elliott.

Yikes! How did he miss that?
