Yeah but it’s not direct reporting from that account. it was reported by rich cimini who covers the jets for espn and they used the report from rich cimini

Justify what?  He led with the helmet, and it was helmet-to-helmet contact.  Pretty easy call IMO.

BTW... Vincent pre-dated Reid.  He was added the first year Lurie owned the team.  He was added in '95, the same year they brought in Ricky Watters and Kevin Turner.

I think you're wrong on the years. Both Ricky and KT were here with Ray Rhodes and Jon Gruden. Both of them also were here the last year the Eagles wore Kelly Green. Troy Vincent never wore Kelly Green. He may have pre-dated AR, but he wasn't added with Ricky and KT.

And you are right since AR wasn't here until 99. I still associate Vincent with Runyan as being to huge pieces added in FA that helped build those teams.

This was reported around draft time. The Eagles then talked with Jordan Davis and Nakobe Dean who both vouched and lobbied for him.

Someone else (McLane maybe?) said all the players of Lurie, Howie, Nick and Julian met the night before the draft to decide if he was on or off their board, so its possible. 

But both those stories kinda contradict the "Carter has a hard stop at #10" that was going around a month or two before the draft.

I don’t remember it being reported his agent and he called the night of the draft and told them that. But it was a while ago. I remember Davis and Dean vouching for him 

Everything I had to say about Calijah Kancey and his violence is what Jalen Carter is. Man, I'm so glad to be wrong about Carter.
