That...didn't even look difficult...

Tristan wirfs is considered on of the top LTs in the game and the rook baby rhinoed him.

Chalk Dawk and Talcum Jenkins are objectively hilarious.

I agree.  The double standard is annoying.  But that aside,  those are clever, and better than Ghost.

Right now, they should just let Carter do his thing and not mess with success.  As he develops, however, I wonder if some snaps on the edge at DE are in order.

It enables him to impact the game in more ways, can really throw the OL off, and we do have exceptional DT depth already.

Let’s not neglect to point out what Josh Sweat did on that play.

Eagles don't have a single Rookie of the Year winner in their entire history.

Let's change that.

Quote

Rubin was a late addition to the group, he says, "placed" there by former NBA commissioner David Stern.

The league was facing a long lockout, and Stern was still acting as the owner of the New Orleans franchise after George Shinn went bankrupt and was forced to sell it back to the league. Rubin was a guy the NBA had done business with since 1999.

"David said, 'Michael, I thought about this. You need to go in and be a real partner,'" Rubin recalls. "I said, 'Why?' And he said, 'Because if anything goes wrong, you work for f---ing me and I can control you. And so you're f---ing doing this, because I need someone in this group that I control.'

NBA owes the 6ers so much for interfering.

I can’t wait for my Carter Jersey

Ah.  I thought by responding to you, you would catch it.  But understood.  Thx.

I read your reply and still didn't see what you were doing.  Almost all the predicions stand out like a sore thumb.  Yours was actually part of a context.  My bad job reading.

What's scary about Sweat is he still has a hitch in his step because of his knee but tracked down Mayfield at almost 2 strides for every one of his.

The really scary thing is that Reddick still isn't healthy.

I think he’s already played at DE on a few snaps. Could be mistaken though.

So I just wanted to thank everybody on here, the last week has been kind of stressful and emotional. On Thursday evening, I took my dog to the vet as he has been huffing and coughing. They took an x-ray of his chest and there’s was a giant mass on his left lung. It was the size of a hand. At that point my vet didn’t think it could be operated on. It was too big and close to his aorta.

So I had to make an appointment for a CT scan to definitively know if it was operable and if he could have chemo/radiation. So on Monday that happened. And we found out it could be removed and still have a good quality of life afterwards and recovery was usually really good.

His surgery was this morning into the afternoon. And it was super stressful. I know it’s not a person or family member like a brother or sister or parents, but this place is the only thing  that helped me the pass time so that I wasn’t continuously just thinking about the worst. So just wanted to say thank you to everyone even though you guys didn’t know it you helped me really get through a challenging week.

Dogs are family. My dog is by far my favorite in my house - well above my wife and daughter    Hope everything is well and he lives many more years!

The Eagles might have the best OL in the NFL.  They might have the best DL in the NFL.  Collectively, they are definitely the best team in the trenches in the NFL.

Do you know what is most amazing about this?  Their lines are ENTIRELY drafted.  The whole OL left to right.  (Depending on how you identify Reddick), their entire DL and the waves of depth.  All drafted.

Granted, they should have great lines considering how heavily they draft them.  But still...I think Dillard in 2019 was probably the last lineman they drafted that disappointed.

I criticize when they do stupid things in the draft, but they deserve credit for this.  However, their formula for drafting linemen has significantly changed.  No more Derrick Barnetts.  They draft guys that are talented.

Jalen Carter played Edge in college too. At Georgia, all the DL rotate across the line.

Carter and Davis both being up on a snap count does limit the upside of the defense. I think Milton Williams has played well, but he's clearly DT4.

Stubbs clearly needs to always play with a hangover

I still think Williams has a lot of untapped potential and is really unheralded on this DL.  He has been solid this year despite not putting up any explosive plays.  It's usually BS when people say this, but I think he'd be starting just about anywhere.  He's still got some time under contract, but he's an absolute FA gem waiting for someone.

@bpac55

Well the NFL found a way to make a Jets/Chiefs matchup that completely lost its luster end up being the most watched game of the season.

Unfortunately he seems like the odd man out when it comes time to give guys like Dickerson, DeVonta, and Davis extensions down the line. They might have to make a decision on a guy like Blankenship too and then a monster one for Carter down the line if he’s as real as he’s been looking.

Can't pay everyone.  But it's the circle of life.  We are being treated to Carter and Blankenship right now specifically because of now departed players they couldn't pay.
