He should NOT be a Hall of Fame player, to me longevity is a major component of the HoF.

Agree he will come up short, but he will get some consideration. Had he stacked a few more healthy years on to his resume, he'd have made it. Martin is a no brainer, IMO. Same as Kelce at this point.

If there was a lot less stand out LT’s during his era, maybe…but as is he’s on the outside looking in.

Yup.  At one time the NFC East had:  #71 - Trent Williams, Jason Peters, Tyron Smith.  I always had him as #3 of that group.  And to add his inability to stay healthy even a little bit recently... he just doesn't have the resume for me to put him there.    And the star on the hat shouldn't get him any extra points.  They've been one step above mediocre at best during his time.  Only 7 playoff games to his resume and only 2 wins.  So post season success can't offer any bump either.

42-13.

Do you have a season record prediction?

Hey brother, I think you had Wentz Fan or someone else’s prediction for me.

17-10 Eagles…sloppy game due to weather.  Both new Georgia additions get a sack.

You are right.  I have corrected that.

Thanks for all that you're doing, btw    😉

You caught me.  Mine is 31-12 with the Defense stiffening up enough to yield no TDs

We can discuss why Harper shaved off his beard, while in the middle of a slump on the road.

I think he did it to increase his speed by decreasing his wind resistance.  This will help him leg out more infield singles and also benefit him in trying to stretch singles into doubles.   Good move.  Next level thinking!

I think it's psychological. He shaved it to set a baseline for the most epic playoff beard

I agree on all points.  Then again, I am shocked Carl Banks is a semi-finalist right now.  He just didn't seem to be 'that guy' for me either, but he played in NY (or at least that's the name of the team... and he won two Lombardis with the Giants.  Just a joke he got in really.  One season he was Pro Bowl/All-Pro (strike shortened 1987)... just ONE. That tells me he was never considered one of the best players of his generation... and yet... here we are.

That right there is 1993 Phillies intensity.  Had to do a double take to confirm that wasn't Pete Incaviglia

@mattwill

Eagles 31-25

Bonus:  Siposs stuns with his punting performance!

Prime Jason Peters made no sense. He was absurd from 2010-2014 (except 2012, when he didn't play and the season collapsed).

Will never forget Peters going after Chris Baker in 2014.

Texans Watson was 3 years ago.  There hasn't been a single instance since his return to the NFL on the Brown where he hasn't looked like one of the worst QBs in the league.

He isn't the same QB that he used to be until proven otherwise.  He was a disastrous move by the Browns with the contract they gave him and it is going to tank their franchise and waste their talent.

Dude played like 7 games with a new team after being suspended 11 games.  This year is the real test.

Are the tiebreakers meant to be wild guesses?

I think they could be good but under-hyped is a stretch IMO. They're 7th/8th in Superbowl win odds right now.

Alright cool, you can sit there in shock and awe when Watson is terrible this season not having seen it come at all.

Meanwhile I will not at all be shocked when he continues to be terrible just as all practice reports about him this summer have indicated he has continued to be.

Media is going to make this a distraction all year

I'm not a believer in Lamar so I don't think it'll happen

I can't tell if you mean Randall or filling the void by suggesting Zach Cunningham should give it a try

Wow, 7 AFC teams at 12-5 or better.  That means one of the 12-5 teams plus the 11-6 Ravens do not make the Playoffs.

Lol no love for Ryans Texans?

I'd switch Dallas and Giants. I think Giants are going to run Barkley into the ground with wins. Commies may end up being worse than that

Kind of think Lions take the division

Perhaps my hate for Saints but I don't think they take the division

I think 49ers losing Ryans hurts them

I'd agree with Bills, Dolphins, and Jets as long as Allen and Tua don't get injured. Otherwise I think Rodgers with the Jets could take the division

Pickett did well in the preseason but who knows if he'll keep it up. Watson played well before the lawsuits and could go back to that. Is Burrow going to start week 1?

I do agree it'll be between Chiefs and Chargers
