That's not guaranteed though. They can only control their own plays. An example would be a WR can try their hardest but if the DB is someone like Revis then their chances of fixing the game are nil

It doesn’t matter if it’s guaranteed or not. 

If Eagles are favored by 10 and are up 9 in FG range but Hurts intentionally takes a sack to push them out of range, that’s fixing the game, regardless what ends up being the final score.

Puka, atwell handled everything well with kupp out. Puka had a down week last week so maybe he league has adjusted. But atwell got deep speed and can do a lot of things with him. Finally flourishing. I was thinking that three-game stretch one of those games would be their first loss of the year before the season. That’s not an easy stretch. You go out to LA come all the way back to play the jets at that time would’ve had an Aaron Rodgers and then play the dolphins. It’s easier now because there’s no Aaron Rodgers. But the Eagles seem to always play well in LA. The Rams might beat them in Philadelphia but I don’t think the Eagles hace lost to the Rams or chargers in LA since the Rams/chargers moved to LA again.

Same scenario in reverse, Nick tells Hurts to hand off the ball to kill the clock but Hurts throws a TD to cover the spread because he bet on it. That’s fixing the game in your favor. 

Or Hurts bet on his over rushing yards. Instead of running the called plays or passing on an RPO he keeps it everytime. That’s fixing the game in your favor. 

 

We were at the hospital for my mother to get a CT scan about an hour ago and this commercial came on...

 

Kind of surprised me to see an Eagles filled commercial here, but I smiled.
