It sounds like a lot but NFL contracts are inflating like crazy.  And those guys deserve to be in the same ballpark.

 

I think maybe a happy medium would be like 10-12M which is pretty low but teams act like it's ridiculously high and want to pay RBs like 1-2M. That's just nuts.

 

I would be fine with giving Swift a 3-4 year deal. He will be 25 when FA starts, but I'm sure Howie can work some void years to make it a 5 year deal.

Some draft people were oddly down on Witherspoon because of his size or some bs. You watch the dude play in college and he jumped out immediately. Always around the ball, always making plays and being physical. He’s just a gamer.

If the Eagles are in a tight race with the #1 seed in reach at the end of the season then the 3 game stretch to end the year against the Giants teocw and Cardinals will be a huge benefit.

I don't know what changed from last year to this with the DEs but it's a major drop. Especially, considering the DTs are playing at such a high level. WTH.
