@mattwill Eagles 31 - Rams 13

* Bonus: I have at least one beer during the game (can I do that?)

If that one doesn't count:
* AJ Brown over 100 yards receiving, TD

Not a big college football fan, so I found out today in draft previews that there's a QB that plays for Washington named Penix, which is NOT pronounced the way you think it is.  He prounces his name Penn Nicks.   Had to watch a highlight reel to see that it was not, in fact, Pea Nicks

Interesting!   12 is the quintessential QB number. If you asked me to draw a QB, he's wearing 12.

How many have been retired?

Makes it harder to maintain the streak.

Tyrie Cleveland is also eligible to sign this week. Not necessarily needed but I wouldn't be surprised if he's back.

Also not sure what other opportunities Rashaan Evans ever thought he had, but apparently it doesn't have anything to do with football.

Maybe he wanted to get into the porn industry #respect

What a freaking POS to throw a forearm into a woman's neck like that. You haven't stopped anyone so you decide to drop her? A-hole.

Chinn would be a good addition but I think it can be difficult to integrate someone into a system midseason.  I wonder if Quez Watkins is a possible trade candidate along with a draft pick.  He would give the Panthers a vertical threat on offense.  He's not likely to be a player that gets a lot playing time given how Zaccheus has played.

There's this narrative that OZ has been playing lights out and I'm not sure where it's coming from???

He has 3 catches and a TD on the season In 4 games and a drop.

If Watkins had those exact same stats eagle fans would be killing him  but OZ puts up that and all the sudden he's the next Travis fulgham...🤔

Glad OZ has made a few plays and I hope he continues to but when watkins gets back if he can play up to his potential he's s guy defenses have to account for deep and gives the eagles one more weapon and one more thing for defenses to worry about.

Smart move to put two righties between Schwarbs, Harper, and Stott.  With the three-batter requirement, makes it tougher on the lefties in their bullpen.

Really split up the lefties.

To be clear, I’m not sure if you are serious with your comment

Not sure how I feel about sitting Marsh.  I get it... but I'm not sure I like going with Pache over Marsh, no matter who is pitching.

Only part i dislike is having realmuto bat 5th. I get why they had to put him 5th or 6th. But he hasn’t hit well at home nor with RISP this year. Maybe it changes in the postseason but it’s been an issue all year.

Issue is if they had marsh in the lineup hitting 8th then you’d have stott, marsh, Rojas and then schwarber when that part of the lineup comes up. Which is 3 out of 4 lefties. The marlins have a lefty heavy pen. I agree i rather have marsh playing. I trust him more than pache. Although pache was good before the injury. Since the start of September he’s hitting .114 with obp of .262

Wasn’t Rodgers a 12 for the Jets?

I like Watkins but he's not any better than Oz.  He costs more and if we were having to trade assets to get Chinn he might lower the cost of the draft compensation.

One can't keep using this excuse, at some point the production needs to meet the talent.

Lots of players have the talent to excel or be good at their positions but for whatever reason that production  never meets the talent.

On the last TD of regulation jobe was playing obvious inside leverage and even though he had Inside help by two other defenders when the WR feigned inside Jobe bit on the inside that he had already lined up in and gave up an easy TD on the outside.

Part of playing good defense especially on the back seven is knowing where your help is and Jobe either had no idea or the coaches are coaching it wrong.

Absolutely no reason to take Inside leverage when two guys are there, had Jobe played outside leverage it would have forced the WR into double inside coverage or put him in position to make a play on the ball.

That has nothing to do with talent or physical ability and all to do with basic technique and football IQ, unless again the coaches are teaching it that way in which case that's idiotic.

I like Jobe I don't think he's ready mentally, I don't like moving bradberry to slot where he's he's not a fit as it weakens two positions.

Get a real  nickel  corner, move bradberry back outside where he plays his best and use Jobe on the outside in case bradberry or slay go down.

Never give up inside leverage near the goal line. Ever.

You want both Bradberry and Jobe outside? Who plays the slot? We were down to a safety playing there. Further, Bradberry in the slot was for matchup purposes, not as a permanent change of position.

Finally, here's the play: The ball's in the air (red circle). Jobe has perfect coverage on Dotson (yellow circle). Edmunds is doing nothing (blue circle). Dotson pushed off on the play but no zebra is going to call it. Still further, Jobe lined up square to Dotson, neither inside nor outside. I can put up a shot of that if you like.

Sometimes, even with perfect coverage, the WR wins. We see it with AJ Brown over and over.

I think you're giving Jobe a bad rap.

Jamie Moyer, who took the pitching rubber from the field during the WS celebration in 2008.  Epic move.
