I think he’ll settle down.  But he’s probably trying to win the WS with each swing in the wild card.  It’s easy to fall into that mentality after last year.

This kind of goes back to Jt realmuto batting 5th when he shouldn’t be batting 5th. The Marlins know Bryce Harper is the guy on the phillies and clutch. So if there’s a chance to pitch around him to get to Realmuto, who’s been terrible with runners in scoring position they are going to do that. The protection for harper isn’t there. So Harper is either going to have to be patient and take the walk and we hope Realmuto comes through. Or Harper‘s gonna start chasing pitches trying to make it happen. Stott is hitting .282 vs. lhp and castellanos and stott hit with Risp (.277 and 281). So the protection is there and can do damage if they pitch around harper. after 162 games realmuto is hitting .205 with Risp and .198 at home

Zangaro had an interesting bit on info on his pod. Apparently on the tush push play Dickerson was called offsides for, the refs spotted the ball and Payne got set. When Kelce got set he pushed the ball up a few inches and put the ball kind of over his hand. Because Payne was set first and Kelce slightly moved the ball, it wasn’t a penalty.

Other penalty have said the same.

If that's true, then I'm fine with what happened with Payne. Kelce moves the ball up in short-yardage all the time.

That was an incredible throw and tag.

With one of your worst hitters in the lineup coming up, it’s the right move to send him.

well thats ok but wouldnt the same explanation stand for the other side of the LOS in which case Dickerson was not offsides?

I wouldn’t been aggressive in that situation. I get they should’ve last time. But with no outs and Luzardo reeling right now and the Phillies are getting to them. No need to be that aggressive. 

see what I mean. The Phillies are hitting Luzardo. He’s not getting out. Don’t give him an out on your aggressiveness. Make him have to throw you pitches to get you out.
