hes a versatile freakbeast.

Ok Fletch is definitely out this Week.   The Young Dawgs gotta step up in his absence.

Only the Bucs have won their next game after having lost to the Eagles this year.  And that was mostly because Derek Carr was half functional.

I think the Eagles are beating people up on both sides of the ball.  The Commanders looked out of it last night.

The Dolphins are a very good team but theyre going to need some veteran leadership to knock some sense into Claypool if he's gonna be anything for them. Not sure Hill is that guy.

Claypool more like Gayfool!

That's a good point.

I was absolutely holding if you look at the letter of the rule.  Valdez-Scantling also pushed off, if you look at the letter of the rule.  I'm betting they call the push-off 0 times out of 100, though.

He looked like he waived for a fair catch.  But was shielding his eyes.

Covey did the same thing earlier in the game.  Of course,  I still would have liked to get the call against Washington.

Nope.  His hand never went up to his eyes.  He waved, but didn't raise his arm over his head.   BUT... the bad fair catch penalty is no longer a penalty, which is why it was blown dead, but no flag.

Pretty good article.  Takes the Brotherly Love back to Wally Camp, the inventor of the line of scrimmage.  Basically his blocking is the first major migration of Association Football from rugby.   Really wish those morons speaking out against the play knew a bit more about the history of the sport.

No doubt, Fletcher Cox has been playing great this year. However, he should not be nearing 65% of snaps per game. This could be a blessing in disguise to get Davis/Carter/Williams on the field even more. I'd really love to see what Street and Ojomo can do too.

I think Zangaro used the wrong term.  With 5 healthy DTs, the Eagles aren’t "short handed”. They are however "light”.  In that Street and Ojomo are both about 15-20 pounds heavier than Cox and Marlon T.

I know! Al Michael was probably like 32 years old when Wally Camp did this. Guy is a hater since then

@mattwill

Eagles 24

Rams 22

Elliot with the win again

Assuming you mean lighter not heavier

With Cox and Marlon being out, maybe Nolan Smith finally gets more snaps.

Coveys was slightly more subtle. Crowders really liked like a fair catch.

Didn't know they removed that rule. So you're saying it is legal to call a fair catch and run with it now?

Money league.  It has wacky scoring where you get bonuses if you go over 100 (7 points) and 200 yards (12 points), plus bonuses for long TDs. (40 yards gets an extra 3 points, 50 gets 8 extra)  He's my #3 WR behind Kupp and Waddle.

And..... my opponent just txt'd me to congratulate me on the win.  Nice try, I'm not falling for that trap.

Hasnt crossed my mind much. But I might tune in.

Itll be my first saturday off in a long time. I know one of my kids has a birthday party to go to. Not sure what time. Then my kids have a cousin coming over and sleeping here. I have no idea what will be going on around here.

I hope to find time to finally tune in to some college football as well.

Ive thought more about the 6ers first pre-season game on Sunday. Which is at 6pm and kind of conflicts with the eagles game.

I'll remember this post when we get to the World Series!  Don't try to the jump on the wagon then.
