He was incredibly streaky at Clemson.  After his frosh year I remember you did a deep dive into the Clemson WR's and came away thinking he was a wildly inaccurate QB with inconsistent mechanics.  He seems like a top notch human from a lot of aspects, but either his coaching over the years is bad or he just doesn't put in the time to make things muscle memory.  I think you and I were really the only ones not anointing him the next 'chosen one'.

Crazy that the Chargers wasted River's and LT's prime holding onto Norv...they're doing the same now with Herbert.  Same thing with the Titans and how long they kept Jeff Fisher for all those years.

Rich Eisen and Kurt Warner are a great broadcast team.  Loved when they did the Eagles-Jags London game years ago.

That would've needed to go 70 yards in the air to it him somewhat in stride. Diggs straight up just stopped and waited for it.

Yeah, it wasn't intentional. I think optics is what made them throw the flag because he basically got folded in half.

Knowing the Eagles have 2 2nds this year and Howie SUCKS at drafting both CB and late in the 1st round, would you do this 2023 1st and 2024 1st for Surtain and 2024 3rd?

I have no doubt Howie could recoup at least 1 of the 1st round picks.

Definitely not. Wouldn't trade multiple 1's for a non QB,  with few exceptions being a generational pass rusher type. Like Aaron Donald in his early 20's or dominant edge rusher in his early 20's. Or a clearly first ballot HOF caliber player like a Justin Jefferson.

Generally I'd agree with you. However, we're seeing this year that as good as this DL is, coverage is a must. Is that more on Desai or is it the players?

I just think Surtain combined with this DL...sheesh, that would be dangerous.
