Plus their defense is legit.  It’s going to be a harder game than most think. 

The good part about this matchup is the run defense has been very good so far this season. Hall, though, doesn’t need much to get to the 2nd level. Zach Wilson has also been more efficient. The offense won’t be able to bully this defensive line.  They have a secondary that will match up well.  It will be a tough game.

The Browns defense is elite.  Theyre going to get after Purdy like we will.  And with Watson you never know what youre going to get.

The Browns have a good defense and perhaps the best defensive player in the league. The game is in Cleveland. Seems about right.

CLE has maybe the best defense in the league and I think the solution to 9er defense is to run directly at it, which the Browns are apt to do.

That is my expectation as well.  The question for me will be how well the LBs fill the gaps and how well the edges are controlled.

I think this Jets defense is going to pose issues especially since this offense isn’t totally fully clicking yet. That said, I am not afraid of the jets offense at all. It sucks as it is, but it’s even worse when they can’t run the ball and the Eagles have a great run defense. I think this could be a low scoring game and 20 points might even be enough for the Eagles.

Ed Kracz proposed several trade possibilities, one of which was the following.  Thoughts?

2. Driscoll, Watkins and a third-round pick to the Los Angeles Chargers for Asante Samuel Jr. and a Day 3 draft pick. This is probably a longshot because the Chargers are sitting at 2-2 and certainly still believe they can make the playoffs, but they lost receiver Mike Williams for the season with a torn ACL, so adding more depth at the position might be something they would consider. 

Samuel, who is the son of former Eagles standout of former three-time Eagles cornerback Asante Samuel, also is signed through next year on his rookie deal.

And who couldn’t use a player like Driscoll, a rock-steady player who is in the final year of his rookie deal and may even be able to unseat Jamaree Salyer, a 23-year-old former sixth-round pick, at right guard?

All that said, a second-round pick may be required to pry Samuel away, and that may be too rich for Roseman.
