No. Hell no. Maybe a 4th at most. His years of being a great back are in the rear view mirror. No team is going to give up prime assets for someone with an extreme salary who's already declining.

Right, kind of what I was thinking, too.  For the right price I'd be interested, but our running back room is so crowded as is, and we have bigger needs (LB/S/CB).

True, but it’s cool when they do. The road game against the Giants, they ran a great fake after I think a timeout was called after running one.

Agreed. Also it could be potential TDs because of how the defense is lined up during it. Maybe Johnson will try them more. Put the defenses on more edge

Payton was always going to blow that thing up.  My guess is that the GM is gone after this year… And Payton gets more decision-making power.

I think Payton is overrated

Justin Simmons should 100% be a trade target. Doesn't move Brown down the depth chart at all in my opinion. Just cut Edmonds.

If Howie is going to make a trade at all, I don’t think it will happen until the deadline. He’s going to want to see how everything settles with the secondary. Does the Roby experiment work? Can Brown take over and help solidify the other safety spot?
