Good teams can play other good teams in different conferences.  Michigan is playing East Carolina.  Oklahoma is playing Arkansas St.  Both games are gonna be blowouts.  Why couldn't Michigan play Oklahoma instead?  Michigan would probably win but it would still be way more competitive.   

I get that these top 25 schools pay these crappies teams to play them but it's stupid.

Actually met coach  once at an Italian restaurant about 5 minutes from Rice Eccles stadium.

I also knew the Rice family, or at least their son, he  played at Olympus High which was the rival school to my highschool, we actually went to the same church, nice guy he played QB at the U for a season.

Last name drop, Ron McBride who was the coach at the U before whitingham, lived a street over from my parents house, he wasnt mormon but he used to show up with a couple players and talk to the youth at the local chapel.

I got lots of other stories growing up In that area but most on here would have no idea what I'm talking about or care much like how I feel when others talk about baseball on here.

From an NFL fan perspective, you should be glad of these games.  It gives the players at these smaller schools some tape against some elite competition to help them make a case for themselves in the draft, or to make a name for themselves to help them get a shot at the NFL.   

I know I mentioned before that they get paid $$$ to get beat down 65-3 ( most of the time )

Not sure how many guys will have good tape while getting destroyed like that.  I'm sure there are a few but can't be that many.

That is correct but the Ignore feature does not extend to other posters quoting the Ignored person.  It is only a partial solution.
