The Taylor Swift overreaction is stupid. It helps the NFL make money.

I have to see Mark Davis 5x a game or Jerrah 12 times a game. Heck, we have to see the insipid Kelly Stafford a bunch.

I'm fine with the NFL showing Taylor Swift a bunch at a game that is 30 minutes of action and 2 hours of boredom anyway.

How dare you distract us from the well-oiled Broncos machine, let's ride!

Would you prefer they talk about Micah Parsons instead?

As much as we hate them, Mark Davis, JJ and Micah are all contributors to the NFL and stories about them or reactions by them are 100% relatable to the product on the field. The TS love is just over the top annoying.

I asked a colleague about it yesterday who is a HUGE TS fan and she became so defensive. It was such a strange reaction to a basic question about why people like her so much. You would have thought I shot her dog. Might say more about my colleague but I also think there's a lot of TS fans who just aren't stable.

I also realize  NFL fans can act the same way, just look at the weekly fights we see.

Bottom line, I think it's pathetic to idolize anyone who makes money off of your idolization. That goes for athletes, Hollywood, musicians etc.

And I have seen Donna Kelce panned to in the past far more than Swift. Where are the people complaining about her?

Why is one’s mother not as big a deal as one’s SO? If it’s because she’s famous, then you have a problem with Swift more than the attention she gets. That’s a you problem

We have to keep looking at a drugged-out, simpleton, conspiracy nut at Jets games even though he is on IR.

Get ready for it this week.

Rushing Defense is 2nd?

Browns currently edge the Eagles out as the #1 rush defense.  They have played one less game though.

Hate me all you want but I'm #1 on the Donna Kelce is annoying as hell fan club. Cute story at first. All-American mom, 2 boys in the NFL being turned in to some marketing ploy now.

As long as they’re not cutting to her in the middle of a live play, I don’t really care who they want to fawn over during a dead ball. Except for that Alabama Bengal’s wife, that was a bit much

Taylor Swift instead of more of this?

and this without Taylor Swift next to her?

I'd rather they just stick to the game but the broadcasters love to go on tangents especially when the game is near the end or one team is blowing out the other

If we could just hear a play by play or even just the crowd then I'd be happy

Sauce could miss the game, now that’s something

Doubt it. He still put in a LP and no one besides Penny misses a game due to an illness

Total rushing Yards vs. Yards/Game.

Dumb to even consider that as a measurement. It’s like saying Moro Ojomo is our best run defending DT because he’s given up the fewest yards

So no Carter or Slay on Sunday...

I may have to revise my game prediction @mattwill 😕

I wasn't making a statement on the validity of the measurement, I was offering mattwill an explanation for his sort of the data versus what was likely intended by RTK.

NFL unit ranks are determined by total yards.

Lol

My bad. Still think he likely plays.

That’s cute

I think any resources towards Jeremy Chinn would be a bad move. He's a popular name and from what people have said in here and my limited knowledge of him, he would come here and just play the position Blankenship plays no?  He's due a new deal and I think the Eagles would be smart to pair someone that compliments Blankenship (who's a bargain) and can play next to him for years to come.

I disagree. He'd help.  Do I think Justin Simmons is a better fit? Absolutely.  But I don't think Howie would take on that salary at safety.  Chinn is a good player. Having him & Blankenship isn't ideal but it's better than what they have currently

Determined by whom?

I guess the media?  If you ever hear ranks being cited in articles, on TV or on the radio/podcasts if they talk about what rank a teams defense or offense is they are going off the ranks based on yards gained/yards.  Unless specifically stating otherwise.

@mattwill

revised prediction. Sweat causes a sack fumble returned for a TD
