Is it back to best two teams? Or are they still doing that division thing. Because I think they were same division.

Rare mistake by Caleb, the ball hung forever

That’s basically what they had last year when they went to the SB… Watkins, Pascal, Covey vs OZ, Covey, Allen/Ward.

Hardman was injured last year and barely did anything, and now hasn’t done jack this year.

Allen easily can fill the role of field stretcher and doesn’t cost them any assets.

Can he? How do we know that, he hasn't proven anything yet in the NFL.

You are a fan who values age and experience much more than you value youth and athleticism.  In my opinion you don't see players as products that have life cycles.  More often than not the players you want to add are in the Maturity and Decline portion of their career life cycle rather than the introduction and growth portion.

As they say ... chocolate and vanilla.

This isn't remotely true, I value youth and athleticism probably more than age and experience. Not sure what you're referencing here, but Hardman isn't old. And I really don't think he's all that good, which is why I said maybe for a 7th rounder.

Some various news dropping.

Oregon been playing good defense in the 2nd half.

Punt it and pin them deep in their own territory.  If they can drive 80-90 yards for a TD then so be it.  Don't give them a short field in that situation.

I really don’t have a problem if you’re gonna go for the win on 4th and 3. It shows that you have faith in your team that they could pick up 3 yards and win that game. I get punting it and trying to make Washington go 90 yards. But I also understand going for the win and putting the ball in their QBs hands.

To me the biggest issue here is you’re going to go for it and you have a timeout. They never used that timeout. You could’ve use it on multiple occasions.

First, if you were going to go for it from midfield and it’s 4th down and 3, try to draw the Huskies offsides with a hard count. Why not? You have that timeout. Unlikely using it on defense. use a hard account and see if they jump. If they do you win the game and if they don’t call timeout. if you call the time out, you also calm everyone down for the biggest play. It felt like Oregon was very rushed going into that fourth down. And it was a very predictable play. With the time out, you can calm everybody down and get everybody on the same page. probably get a better play then the one they had that eliminated half the field.

if that wasn’t bad enough, Oregon got themselves in the field-goal range with 10 seconds left. They still had that timeout. Unless you were going to take a shot at the end zone which Washington was playing, then you could’ve used the middle of the field and picked up like 4-10 yards and called a timeout and had an easier field goal. The kick at the end is good if you picked up 4 or 5 yards. Instead you missed from that range and you had a timeout left at the end of the game.

Things you should just keep to yourself and not say heading into CBP for a playoff game

So with Dean back, is he starting?

Yes. We’re talking about a field stretching decoy role here. His speed exists, teams have to account for it. He certainly isn’t afraid of contact either.

Does this mean Allen is our new take the top off guy?

Hope they just work him back in nickel and dime

Both top corners are out.  Should be interesting

Gonna disagree there, there's a lot more to WR than just straight line speed and that he hasn't even proven he is in the NFL without shorts yet. There's hands, there's route running, there's the ability to block, to adjust to the ball in the air. He's a flier project that the Eagles took a chance on that wasn't good enough to make the team and didn't even do much of anything in camp or preseason. And no other team in the NFL signed him to their team from the Eagles.

I'd much rather make a move for a depth guy who has actually proven he can play in this league or with more pedigree, cost permitting.

Im fine to give Allen his shot. Not like quez was doing anything

Like who?

id rather let smitty and brown operate some from the slot before making a desperation move and wasting a pick on golden tate

We are talking about 4 receptions and 21 yards worth of production over the season so far. What’s Quez doing with his hands, route running, adjusting to the ball in the air? All Allen needs to do is show his speed and have teams respect the fact he can blow by the safety and catch a go ball. That’s it.

They have to respect his ability to hurdle a defender too.

That might break the commentators and they wouldn’t be able to move onto anything else for the rest of the game.

New add on to the tush push. Hurts holds the ball above his head and Allen grabs the ball while hurdling both offensive and defensive lines

Nah... Eagles would have run the tush push or brotherly shove.  Easy conversion from the half yard line.

No question about it.
