Nothing new to anyone here but I think the Eagles strengths and weaknesses are obvious and have been discussed. They strengths far outweigh the weaknesses so unless a slow start creates a big deficit I see a nice win.  Game 1 always scares me a bit but the Eagles are just a really good team

The athleticism of Cam Jurgens should be noticeable today, especially in potential screen game. This offensive line is too athletic to not parlay that with new wrinkle of Swift in short passing game.

Isaiah Likely is an interesting play this week with Andrews out for anyone betting/playing fantasy and needs a TE.

Besides stopping the run game, I suspect Patriots will run a lot of "12” with Gesicki in the slot just being a big WR. I think they will want to test Dean early and often and work the middle of the field.

Thinking we see Cunningham and Evans a bunch today for some sure tackling. Blankenship is pretty solid there too. Along with Davis and Carter up front. Think they will be fine with run game. Feels pretty improved over White and CJG there. And Hargrave upfront.

It’s how I interpreted that post. The game is meant to start at 4:25pm and that poster is of the opinion that I won’t start until 6pm. That’s a delay.

That is precisely what I think will happen. Same thing happened for the 2018 opener against the Falcons, the night the Super Bowl banner was (poorly and hastily) revealed. 

The Eagles overvalue Gainwell because they drafted him. He’s not half the player Penny is. Not a fan of this decision. Penny has been disrespected all off-season getting no burn.

Maybe they don’t trust Penny’s health and rightfully so. Dude is made of glass, but his talent and ability is so much better than Boston Scott it’s stupid.  Use him, especially in week 1 in terrible weather when no starters have seen the field since February.

Yep. Scott is another JAG they wouldn't need today if they had decent returns on ST.

Then why bring him in? I don't get this at all and we agree it's stupid to have Scott dress.

I was gonna say that he’s a bigger idiot than you, but you continue to grab that 1st place trophy post after post. 

Penny doesn’t play ST’s, so he’s by default the #4 RB which usually doesn’t dress. 

When I laid out my early prediction on the inactives the other day, I suggested it might be difficult for Penny to dress. They routinely dressed only three backs last year, so it is certainly reasonable to think they’d try the same approach again.
