Something that a few good offenses are doing frequently  is right before the snap they send a WR or RB horizontally into motion often out of a bunch or 3x set then at the snap he turns up field.

In the past that player would go in motion then set before the snap or sometimes shuffle their feet in place🤷‍♂️ now with the player being so far  behind the LOS they dont stop or shuffle or set they contine running the snap go upfield or on their route. The advantage if this motion is it gives the receiver a head start run up much like they do in the CFL except they are running horizontally instead if vertically 

So last night i was glad to see BJ had worked this motion into a play until i saw the play.

What did BJ do?

The quick motion man goes in motion to the sideline and instead of carrying that head start momentum into his route he stops at the LOS in the flat and just stands there...🤔

Just standing there flat footed cancels out the whole reason he was sent in motion.

BJ has no clue what hes doing with motion and what motion is supposed to accomplish, it was just such a waste of a play.

Next BJ decides to do some orbit motion with swift a play that the niners ran over and over with multiple options and killed the birds.

BJ if i remember ran that motion once and it was designed to throw to the most obvious player in that motion the RB in motion which picked up only about 6 yards and was to the short side of the field as well 

BJ never set anything else up off either of those motions, him running each was almost like him saying to his haters, look i can run more than 5 plays.

I've felt all along the AZ game could be tough, said it even before the losing streak.

Neither team is going into SF and even being competitive, so it doesn't matter. The only way SF isn't in the Super Bowl is if they have a massive letdown.

Like I said, he got caught in the middle, would it have been great to see him light up DK? Sure. Though i think more than likely it draws a penalty in todays NFL with those Refs last night.

I think another factor not being considered is how close bradberry was in proximity as well and i think more and more defenders are concerned about friendly fire, though taking out bradberry at this point might not be a bad idea ...😉

Defense and schedule?  They scored 17 points against a 6-7 Seattle team that was beaten 4 in a row and ready to call it a season, with their backup QB getting the start.  You'd think not having won there in 15 years that they'd have been keyed up to deliver a win.

Gotta score 30 points in this league to win consistently.  Less than 20 is a non-starter, and that's been the norm the past few games.  With the personnel this team has on offense the excuses need to stop. 

I'm calling a players-only meeting!  Didn't want to have to do it, but it's time.
