And we get their 2025 1st round pick.

Someone needs to remind them the Rams traded all of their first round picks from 2017-2023 and they ended up with a Super Bowl.

Duly noted.

Just saying it would have been a fun game to watch.

Georgia should have beat Bama then.

There is no comparison between AJ Brown, Devonta Smith and Dallas Goedert to the guys you mentioned.  Try again. Don’t get laughed at this time.  I’ll add Swift to the mix.

Mic drop.

Eh, I dunno.  The gap isn’t THAT huge at the top two WR position (and I’ll take Brown and smith every time FWIW) and they have a #3 that’s not hot garbage.

Dallas over Engram definitely.

And id take Travis Etienne’s year over Swift’s, however Swift could have been utilized a lot better.

Jim Harbaugh loves Michigan so much that he makes sure his teeth are just as yellow as their logo.

Long time dipper

You're right.

Gotta pay to play.

Win your conference.

But one could argue that Texas was the team that didn't belong.

If Harbaugh leaves then I want Kalen DeBoer, Washington coach at Michigan.

What’s are dead money currently for 2024? I’m guessing it’s up there

Please don’t make me calculate it right now.  Need to wash the stench off Sundays game first.

My bigger point wasn’t all this is that the Jaguars aren’t some poverty stricken franchise on offense. They have good weapons. Evan engram just had a great season. He led all tight ends in receptions and was 3rd in tight end receiving yards. Acting like the jaguars don’t have good offensive skill position players is Bs

Jacksonville’s collapse this year was much worse than the Colts the year they scapegoated and ran Wentz out of town.  Doug will be on a very short leash next season.

Luckily next year it’s a real playoff and the deserving teams should get in.

Florida State and Liberty (no matter what happened in their bowl game) deserved the 3/4 spot.  I agree.

I tend to think he has to make the playoffs next year to keep his job cause of the collapse. I don’t think the jags are the best team in that division. If the Texans can solidify their oline and add some pieces that team is going to be really good especially if stroud takes another leap in year two. Colts won 9 games without Richardson most of the year. If Richardson can managed to stay healthy the jags might find themselves as the 2nd or even 3rd best team in that division.

They weren’t the 3/4 best teams so no, I disagree. Especially Liberty.

Pretty sure he's just fooling around.

Texas was the least qualified to be there,  but the committee wasn't going to leave them out. But it played out accordingly. They lost to the team that got blown out by Michigan. It is what it is.

Looking forward to a 12 team gauntlet.

Still doesn’t fix the issue.  Unfortunately.  Is the NFL better or worse from expanding the playoffs?

What’s the message board equivalent of crying in the fetal position in the shower?

That's an excellent question.

Money wise, yes.

But quality wise, debatable.

Who were the only teams to not lose a game all season?  Did the absolute best their schedule allowed?  There’s no way fix the process under the current method of selecting teams…and expanding just makes it a crap shoot like March Madness.
