If DAL loses tomorrow I won’t disappoint you, I’ve been saving them up for the annual January let down. Like @Texas Eagle said yesterday "sooner or later”.

When you’ve experienced so much disappointment over 28 years you begin to condition yourself for the inevitable to soften the blow when it happens. 😂

The bigger problem is Roseman apparently.

Definitely not a coach only issue imo

One is a rookie and Jalen is paid $255 million, I think it’s perfectly fair to compare

Not at all. Stroud was a way higher talent coming out of the draft, it's not even close.

He's not. Roseman has built 2 superbowl rosters while Siri has done nothing but ride Steichen and Gannon's coattails only to become a laughing stock without them.

But who hired Siri? I'm sure he had his hand in that.

Look I'm not going to lie if he continues to build rosters that make it to the sb every 3-4 years I'm good with that. But he doesn't seem to be good at drafting players or making sound personnel decisions like giving wentz and hurts these huge contracts after one great year.

Doesn't even make sense.

It does when you think about how many turnovers your lord and savior has.

I guess I just expect a QB being paid $255 million to be able to play QB like a rookie

There must be something wrong with the eagles defensive scheme.

Nothing else needed to be said after this.

Siri was a bad hire but understandable as it was so late in the process.

Howie's drafts have been awesome lately, Smitty, Dickerson, Jurgens, Carter etc.

Hurts will be fine. We know he can play at a high level when he doesn't have the clown brain trust of BJ/Siri running the offense. Need to get him a real offensive mind.

Eagles 13

Bucs 27

Sirianni fired by Wednesday

Howie is also responsible for having zero linebackers, no DL depth and a horrid secondary outside of Slay.

He's very much a problem as well.

He ignored the defense but the offense has a ton of talent. Just no great game planning and play calling

But he made some poor decisions with defensive personnel this past offseason.

Hopefully they lose tomorrow so we can move on from Sirianni.

I hope this time they find an SME HC instead of another cheerleader with a clip board.

Hurts struck gold with his timing. Had all the leverage, was entering the last year of his deal, and put up MVP numbers last year. Lurie has never played hardball with his QBs and has always taken care of them with contracts.

Sounds like 2014 Nick Foles

This makes sense.  Fix the coaching problem and then give Hurts another chance.  He did well under Steichen so maybe he can turn it around and get going again.

Howie has been really good lately, but does need to tweak his philosophy a bit. A little less heavy on the lines, need to diversify what you're willing to draft in round 1 a little more.

The coaching has been so bad this season though it's going to be hard to evaluate everything. Would not be shocked if Bradberry was cut, goes to like Green Bay or whatever and plays really well and this season was just almost everything was toxic.

Time to change the channel

If sirianni was a bad hire then what would josh mcdaniels have been cause he was the guy everyone thought it was going to be until sirianni came into the picture. Add on the organization was in a mess cause had the whole will Carson wentz come back or not and could you fix him as they intended to keep him until he said he didn’t want to be back.

Meco was a great player and is shaping up to be a great coach. Really happy for him.

Steve Nelson is a head scratcher. He was solid in his time here but from what I recall, there was no discussion about bringing him back.

He was 29 when he signed a 2-year, $9 million contract with the Texans. A month later is when the Eagles signed Bradberry (about 100 days younger) to a 1-year $7.5 million contract and again this year to a 3-year $38 million contract.

The offense does, but Smith fell in our laps and AJ Brown was not drafted. Neither was Swift. Goedert is a good TE and every other receiver on this team blows.

We've hit on OL, but the vast majority of his offensive skill position players have been misses.

How many SB wins does Hurts have again?

You sound just like an eagles fan, this must be why you fit in so well around here

Gotta disagree here. Roseman has benefitted from having a QB who played at MVP levels while having them on a rookie contract allowing him to make a few good trades and cheap FA signings. Howie has never built a roster that is sustainable. Can't draft defense behind the line worth a damn, and if not for a fortunate double doink, would have never built a team that went to the divisional round or better 2 years in a row. Howie is a part of this, and is massively overrated. He got lucky with Hurts as it was. They had every intention of going into 2021 with Wentz. Roseman got lucky Wentz forced his way out. You're going to see in the coming years how overrated Howie is while Hurts is on his 2nd contract.

Think so.  If Hurts wets the bed again, then he's toast.  A bit hard to watch his passing when some of these other QB's fire the rock all over the park.
