I hope we have 250 plus rushing yards and hold the ball for 35 minutes.  As the week goes on, the barbs doubting the Eagles appearing daily, the growing internal intensity as Sunday gets closer, I just want the Eagles to physically and psychologically bury them.

Another sloppy first half on the offensive side with the rain, they get down at half, and SF defense won’t let them back in it. SF on 10-days rest doesn’t help and this is basically their Super Bowl. I don’t think it’s that, it just doesn’t make sense with his old contract. I really feel it’s more "what is the role you envision for me, short and long term”, maybe with a little ring chasing/old friends angle thrown in.

Put it this way. To be a bidding war, Leonard would have to get a contract from either team for over $6M. If either team is willing to go over that, why wouldn’t they have just claimed him on waivers for $6M?

Is he a vet that’s not subject to waivers?  If he went through waivers…that’s confirmation no one in the nfl is willing to pay that without a physical.

If any contender was confident he could play at a starter level, he’d have been claimed.  It means the whole nfl doesn’t trust him.

After the trade deadline everyone goes through waivers. He went through unclaimed.
