Eagles legend nearing the end. Occasional beater of the 3rd string LT, merchant of the unblocked sack, and donator of flags, Barnett has solidified his legacy in this city.

Somewhere around $24.5M per season, which would put him in the top 10 for MLB starting pitchers.  That’s a steep price tag for a guy with 90 wins in 9 seasons — and is what he is at this point.

That's a freaking mistake. The guy is a loser in big games. He blew the WS, he blew the Pads game before that, and he blew game 6 this year. I'd have rather gone after the 25 year old from Japan.

Dak's on a heater right now. Helps that the Cowboys' offense is 100% healthy.

It especially helps that they get to flex on JV teams.

The Lions are the most critical watch moving forward.

I have a 2 year delay in my ability to respect a team.  Until they prove themselves in a sustained fashion, I just don't believe they can compete with the big boys in the playoffs.  I was somewhat high on Goff when everyone left him for dead, but I also don't think he's more than he is...which is just a good system QB.  Despite beating a SB hungover Chiefs in week 1, I don't buy that they can really reliably beat high end teams.  Squaring off against them in the playoffs would scare me less than Dallas or SF.  Maybe even less than Seattle, who we never play well.

With all that said...their schedule is t-e-r-r-i-b-l-e.  The SEC might be more challenging.  As someone who isn't even afraid of playing the Lions and is a real skeptic, I'm not sure how they lose another game all year (especially considering that Dallas may be locked into their playoff seeding for their head to head game).  I could see them stealing the 1 seed from us at 15-2 and then quickly succumbing to whomever they play in the divisional round, either us, Dallas, or SF.

This Cowboys-Panthers game is probably going to go one of two ways:

1) Dallas dominates from the start, builds up a halftime lead of something like 30-6 and proceeds to win by forty points. It'll be disgusting to watch.

2) The Panthers will hang in there for three and a half quarters and tease us the whole time, only to lose in the final few minutes. It'll be disgusting to watch.

I really wish this were not the game that is going to be shown locally. It's going to be disgusting to watch.

I just won’t watch the cowpads in a non Eagles game.  Fortunately, here in the mid state we have an opportunity to watch the Browns defense and Steelers defense.  I liked Thompson-Robinson, who I suspect was on the Eagles draft board for the QB pick ahead of McKee but was gone before the Eagles pick.  (Don’t get me wrong, I like McKee, I just liked Thompson-Robinson as a fit better.). I could see Thompson-Robinson growing into the job and making it difficult to give the job back to Watson.

Panthers are terrible. Horse collar and face mask on the same guy.

Well, hopefully, our defensive line feasts on Giants QBs on Christmas day. 5 sacks already for Washington.

Just gotta be 3-2 in these next 5 games and we're set for the playoffs.

Hugh Douglas’ best bet of the week was panthers money line, so I wouldn’t rule them out just yet

Kind of feel like have to beat SF in that run of 5. Looking at their schedule they have a shot to run the table. Have vs. tampa, at seattle, at eagles, vs. Seattle, at cardinals, vs. Baltimore, at Washington and vs. rams. I don’t trust seattle to beat them. Got beat all 3 times last year and i just don’t think geno has been as good as last year to pull off those upsets. So have eagles and Baltimore. Don’t know if Baltimore goes on the road down mark andrews and wins that game. I’d like their chances much better if it were in baltimore

Beating SF is a bigger deal for tie-breakers than beating Dallas. We'd have H2H with SF and be in good shape with NFC/common opponents tie-breakers vs. Dallas. We'd basically have to win out for Arizona/NYGx2, but we should anyway.

If the eagles manage to take care of business vs. Buffalo, Sf and seattle then o think the eagles likely get the 1 seed. Don’t see Detroit winning at Dallas or sweeping Minnesota. I also don’t see Dallas winning out having to go to Buffalo and Miami. So they’d have at least 4 losses.

How did the giants make the play offs last season ? Wasn’t daboll the coach of the year ? 😀

Time of possession in this bears lions game is ridiculous. It’s bears 19 mins to lions 9 yet is 10-7

@mattwill

Eagles 31 Chiefs 30

Eagles win on last second FG

Rooting for the Giants here as them avoiding a top 3 pick is for the best.

Cowboys DL lines up in the neutral zone every play. Like blatantly.

Panthers are fing stupid. They had them stopped.

Aaron Jones carted off. They play the Lions on Thanksgiving. Lions just playing bad teams.
