I don't think the disproportionate amount of African Americans contracting corona is just a socioeconomic thing. I think it's also a cultural thing. I drove through south central and downtown L.A. yesterday and you mostly see black people out on the streets acting like nothing is going on. No social distancing. No masks. Get up to northeast L.A. and the hipsters are all masked and crossing streets to avoid sharing the same sidewalks with people. I did see a prostitute on the corner in south central wearing a mask the other day though.
