Wonder if Howie wants a do over with drafting Dean over MLB Terrel Bernard. Time for Howie to bring in scouts and an upper office voice that are proven in finding defensive players. He just can't do it. Hamilton flying all over the field on Sunday, Branch having a great rookie season, Joey Porter looking like a physical presence at corner. Then Bernard breaking records at MLB. Those guys completely reshape this defense if Howie can identify properly. Time for Howie to lose some of his grip on this, he needs the help and it's what's best for this team.

I don't get the Taylor Swift hate either. I wouldn't recognize one of her songs if I heard it but she seems gift wrapped for the NFL to appeal to a demographic that for the most part has tolerated the NFL because of their significant others. I don't know that she appeals only to preteen girls, it seems like their mothers like her too.

I think he'll have a staff that can give better input, if the rumors are correct, he'll have 3 DCs counseling him.

The first move is for Fangio and his crew to review the tape of  last season and decide who is worth keeping and in what role.

I expect pre-teen girls to fawn over a pop star, just look at all the teens dressing like Madonna in the 80s. The thing is, those were teenage girls who don't know any better. It's their moms who do whatever TS wants and will go to all ends to defend her. The ones who would destroy a life if a man crossed TS the wrong way. Still, I don't want Fangio and co. actually selecting names out of the draft. They can advise on the style of player they require and such, but I don't think they should be drafting guys. That's where the scouts and then directors come into play.
