This only applies to Carey Price.

Carey Price?  LOL.  You're joking.

The guy had one really good year in 2015 and folded in the playoffs.  Somehow in the pretend 2021 COVID season they go to the Cup Finals and get squashed by the Lightning -- and Carey Price has never been heard from again.  I gather he retired after that and has just never had the courtesy to tell the organization.

The NHL gave him the Masterton Trophy in 2022 for showing up and playing in 5 whole games out of 82 (and being terrible, to boot).  That guy is the opposite of perseverance.

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

He showed in 2022 that he can stay in the pocket. No idea why he reverted back to bailing out in 2023. His new QB coach?

That's not coach related. He just either didn't trust his line/protection or became too hyper focused on staying healthy that he started feeling false pressure.

Yes. Even if it’s a crapshoot, you have to be a bust to get cut after one year as a third round pick.

Maybe it's just me. 3rd round picks don't really qualify in my definition of bust (especially if they are in the bottom of the 3rd damn near a 4th). Maybe because I have low expectations for players 3rd round and down. I consider anyone 3rd round and beyond that contributes or best case scenario become starters... a steal.

Ran Carthon is claiming he knows what broke the Eagles locker room last year and that it involves a "high profile player" that he said may or may not be on the team next year. He wouldn't say what it was, so it's probably BS, but he seemed to be implying it had to do with someone smashing someone else's girl.

The Titans GM said this?

The Eagles will probably have to draft a RG for depth and future replacement of Brooks. Four that come to mind are Kinnard (OT/OG) from Kentucky, Greene from Texas A&M, Johnson from Boston College, and Ekwonu from NC State. This draft has quite a few IOL prospects that look good. the Eagles should have options.

Outside the 1st round:

Quay Walker, LB, Georgia    Outstanding tackler and plays fast at 240 lbs.

Darian Kinnard, OL, Kentucky   Run blocking beast. You can't teach that. Can play OG or backup OT, maybe future RT with development.

What RB is going to make it with CMC getting all those carries?  No RB is even going to see the field unless he gets hurt

Making it is very different from being cut.... TWICE.  What RB is going to make it isn't the question.  If he had talent, then they'd have kept him on their roster as at least the 3rd RB, but instead chose to turn the page.  And then he came here and couldn't unseat Boston Scott.  Then he went to Indy and did nothing there.  He will be lucky to be on team this upcoming season.

BUST.

Wait, no. I knew that didn't sound right. Craig Carton

"I can tell you that it is a problem that would splinter any group of men. Any group of men. It is a real, significant problem and it cannot be fixed… I’m not gonna tell you any more than that. But I know what the problem was, I know they’re trying to fix it. And I don’t think it can be fixed. So it will be very interesting to see if a high-profile player is no longer with the Eagles going into this season.”

Lol. That makes way more sense.

Kinnard seems like a role of the dice.  Wanogho revenge.

Ran's doing whatever it takes to get AJ back

If you cut a 3rd round pick in year 1 or 2, then yes that's a bust. You should be finding starters in the 3rd round.

Finding starters? More like hoping for starters. Odds of finding a 3rd round starter in the NFL is like 16%. The chances drop significantly from 1st and 2nd round. Even more so for certain positions.

Awesome.  Who's Ran Carthon and why would he have 'inside knowledge' of the Eagles locker room?  This is speculation.
