Still have Powers-Johnson as our first pick. Ham mentioned him first and I studied up on him and I concur. Not many you run across have the talent he seems to have and Howie loves line choices with his first pick,so it fits his drafting style

Then got traded to the rams for Bradford. Was the starter but was terrible and lost his job. Pretty sure he was going to retire until AR convinced him to go to KC as the backup.

We have a great line,have for some time thanks to Howie. Even BU's look good. When Wentz went down the whole team turned up their game a notch to win the SB. I still like Ped. He wasn't a scaredy cat like wimpy Siri. Siri would never try the Philly Special especially with the players that pulled it off

I'm gonna take Jake. If Jake can make mike work hard for 5 rounds,then youth will take over. He's taunting him already and the kid stayed cool. Not rattled. This is fair but think it speaks volumes of the amount of work Mailata put in…. Plus let’s be real there is no teaching his size and athleticism

Deb played RT fine a few different times when asked for fill in also covered LT alright the one time he did it…. Was he beaten at time sure he is a backup for a reason he isn’t going to be Lane Johnson. 
 

Simple fact is versatility is huge for backup OL we can only dress so many… A guy like Driscoll who could give you serviceable play at 4/5 OL is way better then a backup caliber player that can only give serviceable G play.

I honestly think we upgrade on the interior with the Hennessy guy who can play all 3 interior OL spots 

While we obviously look weaker at T and Lane and Mailata have both been known to miss couple games throughout the season. Have to up the next man is ready to fill in

Undoubtedly solid as a rock from Rugby,still, Dillard never lived up to his draft slot. Mailata put the time in and we had the patience. I remember saying we should cut him(Mailata I mean) to free up a spot 🤣 

Reddick had his roster bonus pushed back to April 1st,  the idea is  it gives the Eagles more time to find a trade partner.

Or more time goes by and Reddick understands nobody is going to pay him the amount he thinks. 

A busy week last week... wonder if we get any moves this week?

Anyway PLEEEZ check this kid out. Right now he is a 5th rounder. If that sticks tell me he doesn't belong here. He has that   (OH GOD Ham ruined this word for me) that "'intangible" intimidation factor. Not the hard physical strength kind,but my fav kind,the "It's my ball and you aren't getting it" kind. He also can hit for someone his size. He runs step for step and has a nice leap to disrupt the catch.Sinks his hips and makes fluid changes He also watches the QB's eyes to make those early moves for picks. Maybe toss on a FEW extra pounds,but I really like this kid and the attitude.IDK why he is a round 5,seems much higher to me,so will need to keep an eye on him. If he falls to our first round 5 pick I RUN to the podium. Just a super steal there. What say you?  he was a former WR,so he knows all their routes
