When you get tired you make mistakes too. If he is our offense why did we pay Hurts? AJ? DSmith? I can hand the ball off for 15 million a year, think of the savings!!!! Which game was that? Thanks for the edit tip
November 22, 20241 yr Author Jealous- just watch the Steelers pick up 35 yards DOWN THE MIDDLE of the field from Austin IN THE SLOT

I’ve watched every game at least twice…except for the Saints game. The ONLY way a professional football player could/should get "too tired” is in a 2 minute offense. Otherwise, they are resting a lot! CBs dont leave the field in a series. They run more than RBs. i know you have physically been to a game. They stand around WAITING for TV timeouts a LOT! I mean, a LOT! If Barkley got "too tired”…he needs to run a few more wind sprints, gassers, ladders…all of the above.

I'll ask you...how many teams playing now...do you think are better than the Eagles? That's your answer to the 2nd question and why they may or may not advance deep into the playoffs. Is this 2024 team good enough to beat the Lions? Vikings? Rams? Cardinals? Niners? Packers….first game of the year…yes, now? They lost to the Falcons and Bucs already and those two teams are average. I guess they "could”, but not very convinced I really believe it. And that’s just the NFC. AFC is much tougher, although less teams…Ravens, Bills, Chiefs, Steelers, Chargers, Texans? For the record, from a historical standpoint, they are no where close to Super Bowl champions of any of the past years….not even close!
November 22, 20241 yr For all the accolades Denzel Ward gets, he looks like he doesn’t want to tackle anybody. I guess they don’t pay him to tackle. Haha

Geez... the teams you listed... historically I don't see any of them that good. To me the Lions look the best The other NFC teams....ehh. The thing I think you miss...they lost early in the season. Without AJ...that's huge. DeJean didn't play either. They lost to Tampa without AJ, Smith and Lane...in 100 degrees. Idk...I don't see any team out there when the Eagles are full strength that they can't beat. I can also see them losing to more than half the league too. At the moment if I had to say where they would rank as far as my confidence in all the teams around the league...I'd put Detroit first, but we will see with their upcoming schedule.... probably Buffalo and KC next....and the Eagles would be in that next group with Baltimore and Pittsburgh...maybe Green Bay. I mean is there really any team you would put serious money on to beat the Eagles. Like that confident about it? Of course I wouldn't feel that confident about the Eagles beating any of the top group either... but they absolutely have a legit shot to beat anyone. For sure.

Or same with the WR's? I mean physically stopping them(I think not) I guess they can scrap all those oxygen units that have on the sidelines? RB's carry more pads than CB's? It's like, would it be a bit harder to run a 40 yard dash as they do it now or with another guy standing on the path in your way trying to stop you? Would you run a 4.4 40 if I was in your way? If the RB rests, then so do the guys trying to stop him lol

Barks drop was a key to the loss vs ATL and a bad defensive series. Anyway I can't remember the game, but I typed in as the game was being played that he fell down early. Maybe he got tripped up and I missed that. The 2 losses I'm glad we got out of the way. It told us that it was time to try DeJean and we've been much better with him in place as well as taking the decisions away from Hurts . The Ravens are beatable. The Browns did it!!!! I'm like Joe,if we play smart we can beat anyone, but there's the rub,a few bonehead calls or plays or stupid penalties at bad times and we can lose to anyone too. After the 2 losses and 1/2 way through the Browns game "someone" decided it was time to take the decision making away from Hurts(I mean 6 picks to start off the season with?) Really? Since Hurts became a game manager we started winning games LOL. We won a SB doing this also 😁

It's why you have rotations on the lines and we need a rotation at RB too and I'm sure there is nothing wrong with Barks conditioning

November 23, 20241 yr Author Can play all 3 WR spots. Was also a QB at one time(trick play) Big guy with an enormous catch radius. Not fast(aka blazing speed),but fast enough to get it done. Nice competition for our missing slot guy

November 23, 20241 yr So we have the Rams with no Smith this week…. Rams are having a down year but they are still a dangerous team that seems to be getting healthier with Kupp Puka having couple weeks under there belt from injury. should be a big task for Dejean Kupp still one of the best in the slot

For sure. This is an odd team if we can keep games close, and run the ball I like our odds. Be interesting to see us v the Ravens and Steelers they love those close low scoring games. And both team I believe are really good against the run.
